All i DLed was a system update not a game update.
gears is all about positioning/gettin the drop on people/ a clear shot.
The only time a straight up fire fight works is VS bots or in the campaign. (with ARs)
-So if people with a SO are gettin close to you, its your fault for not looking at them or paying attention.
Wallbouncing is gaaaay and is a shitty game flaw that developers leave in the fuckin game. Its stupid and should have been taken out but its probably t00 much work to go in the code and fix it.
I see wall bouncing as shitty as BXR, DHC, and everything else that developers leave in game. (quickscoping)
All a nerf is gonna do (depending on the severity of it), is gonna force people to play with the gnasher but the same thing will still happen. People are gonna run up on you and instead of being called a SO nub youāll be a someone who doesnāt have skill to use the 3 shot ruleā¦ 
I played last night and it felt like the spread of the shot was different tooā¦ i unnoā¦
From the ādiscussionā on epic forums if you could even call it that. The nerf is only on the dedicated servers from my understanding. As for wall bouncing I agree itās pretty stupid but its been around since Gears 1, just part of the game now.

I donāt mind wallbouncing all that much but yeah it still is exploiting the games mechanics. Wallbouncers are free kills. Most of them make it so obvious at which wall they are going to bounce. Just wait for them to bounce to the wall and one shot them. Wallbouncing is a pretty effective way of avoiding all the rifles stopping power, not gonna lie I abuse it alot to avoid stopping power.
But I just donāt see how they could remove wallbouncing without making the game feel alot more sluggish.
Strafing is ALOT more important imo.
Well there is something kinda like that which was already used in Gears 1. You roadie run up to someone, you shoot, you roll and you continue running. I think people called it a Steamtrain.
Me and my friends called it āThe Roadie Shotā. If you time it right you shoot your gnasher the instant you come out of the roadie run animation and usually OHK the guy.
NEEDS more crab walking 
plus that wall hop thing, you should be able to counter it with a melee or something
Its kinda easy to avoid but on the of chance you forget or are busy, its auto death!

Sheeeit, I love itā¦ I was one of those folks back in the Gears 2 days sittinā around daydreaming about āwouldnāt it be awesome to have a reverse version of Horde?!ā. Of course this also reminds me of how disappointed I am with what Beast mode turned out to be so far. (*it could still live up to the potential if theyād just make a few changes here and there via updates.)
Ooh I just thought about it, speaking of those Siresā¦ Sires with chainsaws would be a nice addition! Some months ago they had a special event with āsurprisesā in Horde on Gears 2ā¦one of those surprises were that Sires had the Lancer! This of course made them MUCH more dangerous. I think they would shoot it wildly as well, and if they got closeā¦yeah, youād get chainsaw-raped. Some interesting ideas came out of that eventā¦ Bloodmounts were spitting fire too, and the Wretches could walk up walls and ceilings.

in a notice from epic, they said theyād be looking into improving torque bow tag and making it possible that you spawn with it as your only starting weapon
they were kinda disappointed in gears 2 when that version of the game type ended up playing as āstill mostly shotguns, sometimes torque bowsā

not really. TDM is new to gears 3. there were respawn centric types like guardian and annex/koth, but its obvious that gears 3 just plays so much better than gears 2 ever did. i personally like koth the most in gears 3.
butcher is like the worst pick in beast. heās like the only monster that has no practical use. and his attacks do not count toward the execution, only horde kills with the cleaver (which you get from the savage therons too)
the cleaver is terribly unused too. i donāt think you can even enable it in custom games. i had hoped it would be like all plasma swords game types from halo, which happen to be very stupid and very fun.
Spawning with only cleavers would be so funny, the game would boil down to 5v5ās or risk getting picked off 1v5, not that Iām shooting it down cuz that would be hilarious to watch.
