Game Bay Tournament is a brand new venture, looking to expand the Wisconsin gaming scene into the Green Bay area. We would like to offer and host tournaments year-round in the Green Bay and Fox River Valley area.
Our goal is to provide the best competitive feel and setting to showcase players’ skills and passion for the game.
GBT is not all about winning. We are open to everyone it is about having fun and meeting people. Game Bay Tournament would also like to have Free-play. Where players can come meet up and just have a relaxing time playing games. We hope to grow and hope you will support us.
As of right now we have two full Xbox 360’s setups. The only hiccup we seem to have is a place to hold it. Other then that we just need to see if we have the player’s.

Yeah that would be cool. We run (mostly) monthly tournaments in milwaukee as well. The wisconsin scene has mostly been based around milwaukee and the far west edge of the state near lacrosse and Minnesota with gng and focus fire there.
I think there’s some green bay players too. Might be good to have a northern scene if you can get people playing. But yeah check the wisconsin threads - our next event is april 30th. Works well in milwaukee cause it’s a pretty easy drive for chicago players.
I think Green Bay could get a scene going like Milwaukee has gotten within the past couple of years. They just need good leadership, which they don’t really have. They’ve only got a handful of players and one celebrity.
Have you guys done anything like this before? Just having 2 consoles is far from what you need to get a good tournament scene going…
We have not. It has been very difficult to even find somewhere we can host. The goal is to grow to a “good tournament scene.” I would like to start off with an 8 player event or so and see how things go. If I was able to start off with more people and a good tournament scene I would love it.
Right now it is just myself. Going out and trying to find a place to even start up a bit of a scene. As of now i know the Gamestop in De Pere has are flyer’s.
Are u looking at just fighters or are u looking at shooters too? I have a ton of friends that play black ops that want tournys in milwaukee or GB area but dont wanna travel. If u cant get the fighting community, try the shooters and see what they think. Lmk cuz my friends are thinking about hosting a COD tourny but with no experience or knowing anyone that throws em, itll be a perfect way for u guys to collaborate.
Doing a COD tournament is just so much. So many console and monitors. If they wanted to help with the setups than maybe. I would need to know if they had other teams wanting in and not just them wanting to host something.
Otherwise i would say just to do Game Battles online.
yeah gamebattles isnt a good option. dealing with lag and making sure everyone is available for clan matches is the reason they wanna throw a tournament locally. ill give u a heads up if anything
I would be interested in GB area tournaments, I live in the fox valley area, me and my brother both pretty into fighting games! ill folllow this thread and see where it takes me
