i havent played this game in a while. but what i do remember, is that if you do have ppower and youve done everything right, its easy. you just catch them at the right hight, and the amount of times C gotta be pushed is low compared to yamazakis old ppower. meaning its a guaranteed hit. or did you mean he rarely gets a full power bar as he uses the spower too often? cause hitting this was easy as ar as i can remember. its all about the hight. with the cros up version i think you had to do it as soon as you could. wth the top, wait for the right hight.
No, I meant that getting the Projectiles to Upper ver. of the Ryuko Ranbu is very difficult to do.

actually you can’t mash both punch buttons… You can only mash C. But still its pretty easy if you remember it and just drill the button. LIke do the motion and press c and then immediately start pressing C again. Don’t wait for any visual queues or you’ll miss it.
Finally have my laptop back and am working on putting up those kevin vid’s and some other casually matches recorded over the last few days.

Thanks… I only threw my scrubby butt video in because of the JD of Hokutomaru super…:wgrin: I have a really hard time breaking butt’s DP, so I don’t use him all that much and tend to play him utilizing the charge attack.
After watching my rock vid’s a few times, I need to get a little better at working a few more combo’s in, use the crack counter a little less as a meter builder, and gaurd canceling. Other than that, I’m thinking be a little more patient and less aggressive.

I have a many Kevin vs Terry matches with someone else (shogun17) playing a more technical terry that are really good that I want to get up.
From what I saw you need to work on landing his :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd:) super after a :d: + :snkb:x 2 and build meter with his low counter (:qcf: + :snkd:), since it’s a bit faster on the recovery. After a :d: + :snkb:, :qcb: + :snka: always buffer either :qcf:/:qcb: then :l: to option select the motions into JD. Then press :snka: as it JDs so you land a GC :qcf:/:qcb: + :snka: you pick the special you want to buffer. The reason why is because people tend to usually try to hit Rock after they block the elbow special. So you plan ahead by doing the motion ahead of time so you can counter their poke attempt afterwards. Though they could always just throw you instead so watch out for that. Though I think you should be more aggresive with Rock since his offense is great and has a lot of great options on wake up. Take advantage of those knockdowns also so you can either build meter with the low counter special or go in for his :snka: + :snkb: wake up games. Also take it easy with the rising tackles and :qcb: + :snkb: as well, those can get you killed if the opponent baits them. The rest is just working on your defense a bit more with the JDs. Also take advantage of those openings when they are infront of you like when the Terry kept doing :qcb: + :snkb: that is a free super/combo for Rock afterwards. Hope that helps.
