well i think GAROU is the mose balanced 2d game ever created… bur every game has his strong player. like Kain and Grant… kains charges r way to fast(wich is good 4 the user) and grant hecovers from moves verry fast… and if im wrong on 1 of this things please correct me… and im a Freeman user and i also use Rock Howard and Dong Hwan
All of the charge moves I’ve seen require 20 frames to charge (specifics tested: Rocks rising tackle, Gato’s counter. I’d have to verify with Kouba if Kain’s charges are 20 frames as well, but Im sure they are), and all characters hitstun and blockstun are the same, but recovery from moves is move specific. You can’t tell me that Grants dp+C recovers fast, and a lot of his moves have massive frame (dis)advantage.
Thinking its the most balanced 2d fighter is just wrong. Its seems to put a lot more effort into balance than most other games outside of guilty gear, but it probably only seems that way because of the lack of competition, otherwise youd be complaining about Kevin’s comboing ability, Grant’s overpoweredness, and Gato’s mixups and combos. Hey, if we had enough competition in the scene, maybe we’d be whining about Hotaru’s rushdown. That would be a happy day.
