Format:
SF4 1v1 , Double Elimination, XBOX 360. We would love to run the tournament on PS3 but we would need people to bring down their game & system with all characters unlocked, etc. The store does have 1 PS3 with 2 controllers, but we would still need a memory card with all the data and the game.
Rules:
We highly suggest that players bring their own controllers to the event, but we will provide controllers to those who don’t have a preference.
? All characters are legal for selection
? Matches are best 2 out of 3 rounds
? Finals are best 3 out of 5 rounds
? You may change your control settings before your match, just alert your opponent
? Stage selection is random
? Double Blind Pick for first match upon request
Other Info:
The shop has 2 XBOX 360s with 2 copies of the game will all characters unlocked. We have 5 big screen HDTVs and could use some extra set-ups if anyone has extra capacity. Free pizza for anyone who brings in their console that is used for the tournament and/or full set-up if needed. Please post on this thread or contact me via e-mail so we can set up how many people we can get in here.
NOTE:
At Gaming Etc we run our video game tournaments at little to no profit for us. We are all about giving the players a space and letting them participate in events that are fun and provide good competition and prize support. Recently we were visited by a group of players asking about our monthly video game tournaments, and we gave them our info. It has recently come to our attention that this information may have been used maliciously against us. We would like it noted that we do not hold a grudge. We are going to continue on and hold the tournament on the same day we’ve had it scheduled for, thanks to everyone who can make it and we’ll see you there.
