Very well organized + fun and friendly staff. Turnout was way too low, however. I think Ottawa only managed to get around 18 people to show up for AE. Spread the word around! I know there’s more of you guys out there!
That top 3 match was the highlight of the day, lol. Ottawa celebrated as if the Senators had won the Stanley Cup!

I think some of the previous runs left a bad taste in people’s mouths but honestly our community isn’t all that big and we had a couple people out of town/at work. Hopefully since this event was a great success we’ll see more and more people coming out on our end.

Thanks to everyone that showed up! Glad to hear that everything went well. I’ll see if we can get AC in the venue next time. We’ll also look into running 3SOE and MK for the next one as well.

I’ll bring my recording setup next time so maybe we could stream/record the grand finals or something.
Great organization though, tournament was pretty smooth.
Still no internet at the venue. I think RXS recorded a few matches on his phone. A lot of Marvel was just Phoenix anti-hype sadly.
I recorded almost all of the Blazblue matches (as well as a match each from Brawl doubles, Melee GFs, and an MVC3 one). It’s watchable, but there’s some glare from the overhead lights that makes things a little harder to see at times. Also, there’s about a 3 match streak where half of everything you hear is hype from the Familyman/RDK(?) Marvel Match.
