Sennin, all I asked for was a link to a credible source disputing the stats. You couldn’t even do something as simple as use Google. Links or shut the fuck up. I thought you were dead, Elliot Rodger, but apparently not.
@fishjie You quoted my post that he screwed up the quoting on. I was the one talking about the Times article i posted in another thread whose premise he couldn’t dispute. Sennin’s response was the bit I quoted above.
OT: I think it’s laughable how angry some of you are about some chick you don’t know cheating on some presumably weakass dude you’d probably be making fun of if he were posting his story in the Relationship thread, in order to get reviews of a game none of you would have ever heard of if not for this story. No one’s saying she doesn’t deserve to get called out, but at least call her out for the right shit. Maybe one of you IS the guy she cheated on? And acting like you care about “journalistic integrity” of gaming “journalism?”
Either way, the credibility of all involved has been compromised and they’ve saved us the time and trouble of wondering whether or not we should ignore them.
Thread has gotten way too much attention, the bottom line is this, the bitch is a whore and a fraud and Ive already contacted the Punisher and he will take care of everything soon. Stfu.
Infidelity sucks, but I do NOT care about some guy she had on the side. No one really should and she’s okay when asking about that to stay private.
She CANNOT ask for privacy on her affairs with people whose jobs is to speak to the public. At that point you’ve become a public figure. It reminds me of the BP CEO who wanted privacy after the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The guy said some off-color shit and then said he just wants to go back to his life. Yeah, after you caused a huge environmental disaster and have been slow to respond to it, causing irreversible damage to businesses and the coast itself, you don’t get that luxury.
This is not as severe, but it’s a similar situation. They should be made accountable for their actions and to prove that one did not influence the other. If they cannot or if they refuse, they should all be fired.
Said it better than I could’ve. If you have so little faith in your product that you have to use yourself to get it publicized, it wasn’t worth it in the first place.
There’s this really good Hawaiian bbq place in my city. Ten bills gets you rice, steamed cabbage, macaroni salad and some delicious short ribs, chicken and cube steak.
10 dollars is too much for a burger when there’s that quality of food at the same price tier. 5 guys don’t have guacamole for their burgers either. Too bad carls ir has dropped in quality. The guac burger was hella good.
You can get a quality burger for $10. Near me in Brooklyn there’s a place called Burger it Up, owned by Dominicans. Their regular burgers aren’t bad but they shine with their chorizo burger. I can count burgers I’ve had that were that good on one hand. It came with fries, pickle, and some other shit for $10.
I don’t know who that is but sure feel free to call me that…anyways you didn’t provide credible links though. The last response I made to you before that thread was closed went over all the problems with the study you posted. Everything from the methodology to the conclusions in that study is a big problem. You’re talking about research that asked people vague questions about sexual assault over a telephone survey. In the video by christina hoff summers, she goes over explicitly what was wrong with the study. The people in the survey were not asked directly if they had been raped, rather they were asked questions like"have you ever had sex without wanting to"or"did you have sex under false pretences"and from those answers the researchers determined they were raped victims. At no point in time did any of the researchers attempt to verify any of the respondents claims, meaning that EVERY response was tabulated at face value with no double checking and rigorous authentication process.
This greatly increased the number of rape victims even if it was at odds with the figures from the department of justice…whom by the way are the gold standard when it comes to crime statistics. Furthermore you neglected to mention that under the existing definition of rape, men are not considered rape victims unless penetration has occurred meaning that a woman who forced herself onto a man has not committed sexual assault. It’s kind of a big deal to exclude half the population when it comes to a rape survey IMO…but of course these little technical details are obviously not important when it comes to the bottom line.
If I’m wrong on any of these points then plz feel free to correct me…although considering that the research paper is open to the public I doubt you will.
I quoted someone else but also included my response in the quote…my bad.
I like how you lazily avoid having to address points that clearly ruin your arguments but at this point I’m not surprised. It should be noted that when you first responded to me you acknowledged you didn’t even know what SJW meant which to me says that you clearly were uninformed coming to this discussion…and it’s a fact that becomes very obvious the more you continue to post. For starters it’s not a "trivial non issue"matter because this woman was sleeping with members of the gaming press that could have easily influenced the critical response to her game. Furthermore as stated repeatedly, this woman has a history of doing very unethical things such as lying about harassment to further her own career. In addition to this she is also someone who is closely associated with the same crowd of people who constantly champion themselves as warriors of equality. When we take all of these individual variables into account in addition to her silencing dissenting views and censoring information on the subject…we can understand perfectly why she has become the subject of this entire scandal.
It doesn’t help matters that she’s also a cheating liar and seems to generally be a very dishonest person, however the main reason she is criticized above anyone else is because of her history of poor ethnics. The fact that gaming journalism also got undermined by this entire situation is also a obvious point of interest and at no point in time in any of the videos posted was this point overlooked. Now like I said before, do some research and actually read what people are saying before you waste time posting again.
Some people think it’s ok to bribe judges of your product for good reviews.
At least 5 people in the gaming “journalism” industry want to fuck wario.
American fast food chains are vastly superior to English fast food chains (well I say English but mean the American ones which bothered to come over here).
I actually think Zoe is pretty fucking horrible & Phil Fish needs to be put on blast for shaming someone who claimed to be sexually assaulted by Zoe into silence, don’t see how I’m white knighting anyone.
if it was a fight to the death what makes you think i’d fight clean or fair? you wouldn’t even know i was there. because i wouldn’t be. i’d hire some help and deny all knowledge of being involved
Not gonna lie, she reminds me of a girl i dated as well who was also into anime and liked to dye her hair. So I’d fuck her, but I wouldn’t be sober. But I would use a rubber. Wouldn’t ask to cum on her face
To expose acts of bullying is often met with ad hominems by those in support of it, as its very tough to defend cruelty without appearing extremely foolish.
Who fucking cares?! Its a video game. I think you just repeatedly miss the point so I have to keep hammering it home. Nothing bad happened here. If this were a woman sleeping with a judge or a cop to get reduced sentencing, sure its wrong. If this were a female teacher sleeping with an underage student, sure its wrong. If this were a female banker on wall street sleeping around to get people to buy shitty subprime loans, yup totally wrong. But … this … is … an UNATTRACTIVE indie game developer (does her game even cost money?) sleeping with a bunch of dudes, some of who happen to be game reviewers. even the allegation she did it for self gain is shaky because she is NOT HOT. so to sum up: this. is. not. important. This is just a bunch of sad high school drama, with a bunch of crusaders jumping in on both sides. I don’t even know what kotaku is other than that lots of people hate it. I never heard about her game before this and neither do most of the population. Like I said, the only real thing to be outraged is the censorship, however, reddit and all the other forums on the internet can moderate shit however they want to. the internet may be an open platform but the individual websites on there are not.
