Almost everyone talking about this issue has explicitly condemned all the parties involved, yet the fact that people call her a whore and specifically point out her behaviour seems to bother you. How come women are so sacred to you, why is it such a taboo thing to hold a woman in contempt for something shitty she did. If you believe in equality and treating women on equal footing with men that means calling out their shit too. We have a serious problem of women getting lighter sentencing for the same crimes as men and part of the reason is because of people like you who seem to think women shouldn’t be held to the same standards.

I am simply stating that nothing bad happened here, video games reviews are not important and sad crusaders such as yourself are trying to blow this thing up are grasping at straws, but if you did want to find fault, the men are the ones who fucked up. When a boss sleeps with a subordinate, the boss is the one who is in trouble, not the subordinate. Doesn’t matter if its a man or a woman. Now as for the reviewers. When someone accepts sexual favors in return for a favor, depending on the context, both parties or one party is at fault. If a judge accepts sexual favors, then the judge is in trouble, but the person who propositioned the judge is also at fault because that is trying to undermine the legal system. In this case, it has to do with getting good reviews. Reviewers are free to sleep with whoever they want to, they just need to disclose any conflicts of interest. So the only “wrong” thing that happened here is the dudes did not disclose. Keep re-reading this until you actually understand.

Of course women should be criticized if they did something wrong. Like I said, in a previous thread, I applauded an old dude for killing a woman who broke into his home. That man deserves a medal. I look at every case individually before forming an opinion instead of saying: RAWR WOMAN EVIL!!!111 ROZL!!111 In this specific case, you are attaching far too much importance to an insignificant series of events in order to further your sad little crusader agenda. As I said multiple times, what she did is NOT illegal, so how is my pointing that out making it possible for female criminals to get off with light sentencing? Why did the boss hire her? We can clearly see by the game that she put out how much talent she has, so what compelled him to hire her? Was it because of sexual favors?
Why did the writer provide coverage for Quinn? Even if he didn’t provide a true “review” of her game, he was still reporting on a person that he was in a close personal relationship with. This is the time when you would talk to your boss and say “Hey man, can I switch assignments with someone? I feel like I’m too close to this story.” Assuming Kotaku/RockPaperShotgun is even that organized, it always seems like people just report on whatever the hell they want to on those sites when it’s not E3/TGS/etc time.

2:) Did you miss the part where the videos, people on this thread and me, have repeatedly said that the reason she’s getting so much hate is because of her past antics. She was apart of the "everything in gaming is sexist"crowd and faked a harassment claim a few years back…she even got support from Anita. When you take a little thing called"context"and realize that her past actions carry the weight of consequences to them…you’ll see that her previous behaviour is directly responsible for the backlash. If you bothered to read any recent post of mine, you would know I stated this multiple times. If she had been some random woman who got caught doing this I doubt people would care as much and probably overlook her fuck up…however given that she’s apart of a obnoxious, fanatical community that is ruining gaming in a lot of ways, this is the reason people are so upset with her. As I said before it’s very important you do research on a topic before dicussing it.

In-N-Out is pretty good, but not better than Shake Shack. Just isn’t even close. And when I lived in California the last thing I wanted were burgers. I always got tacos or burritos. Those gift from the gods are always looked over for In-N-Out it’s ridiculous.
Note: In San Francisco I lived down the block from a Taco Bell. That Taco Bell accepted food stamps. I tried my damnedest to qualify for those things, too. That lunch box EVERY. DAY.
In-N-Out, while good the first time I tried it(even had it in animal style), it’s nothing to die for. When I was out there in SoCal, there was just so many other options to choose from(all types of food, not just burgers) that I felt like I wasted money ordering some fast food lol.
