nation burgers- S tier …why no mention?
Umami does good burgers, but so small
I do like the tots
Father’s office is good, but i am not a bleu cheese guy.
Apple Pan is great for the big fries and the apple pie ala mode
Local socal joints though best pastrami for the price is legends. Then we got pastrami burgers
For me i love swish mushroom burger
The swiss mushroom burger at mcdonalds was the only good one
Also sometimes you feel like a shit burger so you go to carls for that double western
SoCal though
Best burritos for me is alfredos
That wasn’t my mother you fiend…sigh…looks like the guys in the line at the methadone clinic tricked you into sucking them off yet again…
Anyways, all these lame ass fast food fatties talking about whatever but what I want to know is when you cook your own burger what do you use and what method do you prefer?
I don’t live in the US
There is a burger place here that offers one of those “eat our largest burger in under 10 minutes and it’s free” challenges
My friends know I eat real quick so they took me to the place
This is the fucking “burger”
http://media2.ph.88db.com/DB88UploadFiles_med2/2012/05/10/BC2B9DFF-4C76-4AF0-AF6E-280FFF7149AC.jpg
wtf? It’s not even a burger, it’s just dollops of meat with a bun on top
But nah it’s fine, alright, I’ll play this game, I down the whole thing in 3 minutes
I eat quick but I can only eat a normal amount so after the entire burger I’m pretty close to being full
To finish the challenge I have to eat all 500 fucking grams of their fucking fries, they don’t even taste like anything, no spices, no salt. Fuck that, I didn’t eat any. I swear to god that pic is false advertising the real thing has 100x more fries
You’re not even allowed to drink water, all you have is one glass of iced tea, no less no more
Fuck that, fuck all of the burger challenges, they feed you utter bullshit so you don’t win, I was a fool
So yeah I guess my post is about what a burger meal SHOULDN’T be, roll tier for sure
Caramelized onions
Grilled Mushrooms
Bacon
Avocado
Fresh lettuce
Tomato
Mustard
Med. Cheddar cheese
Whole wheat bun
That’s how you make a good burger.
Shit I’m hungry.
In and Out burger, its sad to see people on the east coast who have never tasted a burger from one.

West coast Best Coast
nigga i had in and out for the first time this past evo shit was JUST aight
Ya’ll gonna make me go on a vision quest for In-&-Out. There’s a 5 Guys here, but it’s kinda out of the way. I could do a Steak & Shake, or What-a-Burger, but I get those all the time.
As someone who made tons of burgers, and ate a damn good amount too, I would like to say carls jr is ass. In n out and five guys are clearly superior chains. I actually think in terms of beef quality wendy’s is very very good. Almost top tier. Mcdonalds/jack/booger fling are no fucking bueno.
Any kinda burger with a thick pad of meat, grilled jalapenos, bacon, onions, lettuce, tomatoes is a good burger.
We’re on the same wavelength, bruh.
Onions are cool, but friend onion strips are waaaaaaay better.
Fried jalapeños are pretty good too.
How do you guys like your buns?
I like mine to be kind of soft and pillowy, and just a little sweet. Toasted bread slices are pretty good too.
Opted out of the burger and ate my healthy ol’ almond chicken, snap peas and mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was my spurge.
But at least I’m staying healthy and keeping the weight off.
Just came to post that I exclusively eat burgers that are half-pound or more when I’m high.
And I only eat burgers when I’m high, so it’s no chore for me.
Also, McDonalds shouldn’t even be an option, that shit is the worst of the worst.

for real
like I said I don’t live in the US so it might be different for you guys, but here McDonalds frycooks really half-ass all their burgers, as if they weren’t half-assed enough in the first place
I mean, shit, once I ordered a Big Mac and what they did was put a ring of lettuce on top of the patty so from the outside it looks like it has a good layer of lettuce, but lift the bun and my god… it’s full of nothing
EDIT: also, check out what they came up with
smh
I mean, I know rice is a staple in Asia but damn son, who the hell thinks up stuff like this
The rice even tastes all weird

Looks like something I would eat for a Midnight Snack

I actually don’t like bacon in my burgers. It’s not that I don’t like bacon, it’s that the crunchy/chewy texture doesn’t fit it. Also the bacon doesn’t cover enough of the burger most of the time, so you get random bites with salty meatiness and some with none. It just throws me off.
Also, chopped lettuce>>>lettuce leaf. It meshes better with the sauces.

I agree sort of. On one hand I like the solid lettuce crunch but on the other hand, on top of condiments like u mentioned, the leaf-method sometimes results in accidentally pulling the leaf out and leaving a baron burger. Its a high risk.
I tend to like very dark greens, like spinach or kale, on my burgers. Spinach is really a great item as each leaf is pretty small and the toppings can be layered.
Wendy’s uses fresh but low quality hamburger meat. Nowhere near mystery meat quality bullshit that McDonalds and Burger King are but its greasy. There is more fat mixed in with the beef than there should be.
Five Guys is certainly worth the hype, I just wish it was affordable like it was when it just opened.
Cost effectiveness is good when looking for a good burger. Is there anybody out there like 5 Guys but with more reasonable prices? Hook a nigga up

Smash Burger is about the closest thing you’ll get. The burgers are a bit cheaper and slightly smaller, but they taste pretty good. Everything there is a la carte, though, so I’d get a burger and drink some water at the house.

Burgers are typically a treat, so treat urself to an added $5. I mean burgers aren’t good for u already, so if ur going to indulge you may as well go all the way. Most $10 burger places I’ve gone to, even vegan ones, really hook it up in the fry department.
EDIT: Its tough to find a sub $5 burger even at fast food, so with tax ur already over. The price difference between fast food and the higher tier are getting blurred but the quality isn’t.
That’s because Spuds are cheap as fuck. They load you up on em to make the plate seem fuller.
