I thought that was a pretty solid list because even though it’s a top ten list each of those games from their respective series really show what the fighting game genre is capable of. And it’s hard to really rank which fighting game is best since they all have their different qualities. It’s a bunch of perfect games squaring off against one another.
Edit: Except for DoA4 and Killer Instinct. I don’t consider them perfect.

I think the list would have been better named as
“The Top 10 breakthrough fighters”,but not the flat out BEST.
You are leaving off a bunch of stuff such as Garou,a few KOF games could have made it,Cvs2,etc,etc…
Tekken 3 isn’t even the best version of Tekken 3, never mind the best game in the series (DR). And what significance does #R have over any GG game, never mind the latest version? The list doesn’t even make sense.
I have NEVER seen a decent list from Screwattack… EVER… except maybe when it’s a Nintendo-centric list… so I’m convinced they make dumb lists just to draw attention to themselves.
The sad thing is that TMNT: tournaments fighters is better than most of the games on the list.
Agreed. I don’t see why it’s thread worthy every time some shitty gaming site makes a bad list of best fighting games ever, or things most important in fighting games, or what needs to be in the next entry of big fighting franchise. It only serves to piss yourself off to read/watch it.
