My store was very gay. Very unorganized. They accepted so many late players and even people who didn’t hear or sign in. It messed up all the brackets.
There were 5 people left. My brother, me , this guy who uses vega, this guy who uses zangief, and another ken player.
They fucked up bad. It was suppose to be my brother playing against vega,
me playing the zangief or ken player and then me or my brother playing the remaining.
but most likely it was suppose to be my brother & me to move to round 2.
kinda gay since they went out of order and then they realized that after they made US play each other and i won, that they made a mistake that my borther wasn’t supposed to play with me and they still didn’t fix it. didn’t give him a chance to remake it with the other guy.
tournament at this location is very unorganized.

and it wasn’t wireless or wired like 6-7" ft cord. it was like stuck on the machine lol
so it was kinda gay having the other player arms around yours. =/
anyways i wouldn’t recommend going to this gamestop to play a tourney again. i noticed some places used big LCD tv and shit. this tourney was cheap and wack at my location.
they need to have better organizers and not fucked up retards to moderate this tourney but, hey! its a free tourney so whatever. no money involved.

I already was going to the second round, but me and the guy who won had to play just to see who gets the yellow headband and the wrist band. I lost to a good ken player. Funny thing was that i was only person that used one of the new players. Oh well!!! And yes the 360 d-pad sucks. Did pretty good for my first SF tourney.

Would have taken it except for the fact that all my flip kicks translate to XBOX pads as wall dives, and EX’s weren’t coming out. Fought against a fellow SRKer in semis because they switched the brackets around, otherwise it would have been him and I in the finals. Kinda unorganized and weird, people didn’t necessarily know what they were doing so I was yelling things from afar. Lots of people didn’t show up, as well.

They had some weird fucked up way of running the brackets so I ended up having to play R|C who was definitely the second best guy there. Shoulda been me and him in the finals. Oh well, WTG gamestop, you are teh suck. Also, apparently we HAVE to play at the district store which is Pico Rivera. What did everyone else’s stores say about round 2?
Like you wouldn’t win anyway but yes rufus on pad. Quick win.
Rufus is the easiest character in the game to play on pad imo which is why I played him too. Tri jumps are easier and I pulled off ex messiah kick fadc snake strikes/ultra a few times at my GS.

comments: i was really disappointed in the tourney at this store
i quickly destroyed everyone, no one there had any real knowledge. it seemed like they just wanted to play sf4 for free lol.
examples: 1.i won an entire match with sweeps, the i was accused of “playing this game too much” i’m not kidding.
2.i won an entire round with throws “man that’s cheap”
3.most of my matches started with my opponent jumping at me, one round i won with all standing roundhouse anti airs.
4.every person there (except me and one other person), used ken, and did nothing but jump in roundhouse, crouching roundhouse. and full screen ultras.
and those sticks were some ole bullshit. one didn’t even have the grip on the analog hahaha

Standing roundhouse and ex headstomps got me to the finals. The guy running the tournament kept asking where my psycho crushers were. I ended up losing to my friend who wasn’t even going to enter, but I convinced him to. Couldn’t break his Guile defenses. Hoping we can get at opposites ends of the brackets next time as well so we both have a chance at going to round 3.
