Let me cut to the chase, what do we get when we win at our local gamestop? I’m hoping at least a free copy of SFIV. Or how about all the cash that went into the pot?
I like how people are all confident their going to win, cuz everyone where they live might be shoto scrubs or just all around scrubs. Their might be that person who lives in your area with a population of 10,000 who plays on 2df/ggpo in all of his or her spare time.
Chances of that are slim though

Random characters, shitty default controls, stupid rules, and random items.
COW tourney -
Shitty default controls, 1v1 co-op competitive (
), retarded scoring system.
From my experience, they give these tournaments the most RETARDED rules and settings in existence to make it as random as possible.
I won the first COW tourney because the game had been leaked for weeks ahead of time and I was able to practice the shitty controls and learn the maps. But it was so retarded, I couldn’t even fool myself into believing I was having a good time; so I didn’t bother to go to the following rounds. That, and Left 4 Dead came out…
I’m guessing this won’t be any different. Since me and my dudes (and a lot of other people out here) have played this already, we’re gonna spread out to increase our chances.

Fighting games are really kicking off right now. I think their mainstream appeal is growing among gamers. Finally, after 15 years, my video game skills will respected. I will have my time in the sun!!!
