I know that everyone has this info already, but I’m posting this because my store in North County will have the largest turnout. So far, I have about 60 players entering.

With the cap at 64 and 16 alternates, I have letbloodrun (Ryan) and abomination (Bryan) entering at my location. letbloodrun runs with the Keystone crew and is one of SoCal/NorCal top 3S player.

Great location surrounded by food, movies, and beer!

Time: 2pm
Location: GameStop; 20 Main St, Ste 125, Vista, CA 92083
Date: 2/21/09 (Saturday)
Console: Xbox 360

So if you cannot make it to LA/NorCal’s big tourneys, come to the next best thing!

No true! Call bullshit and ask to see the official rules. No purchase necessary to enter! <that means you do not have to reserve the game or even buy it!

If they still say no, ask for the DM (district managers) phone number.

Anyway, you win a fighpad in round 2 which you’ll be allowed to use in round 3. You win a TE fightstick in round 3 and can use in round 4.

i won my tourney up in costa mesa but i want to play in the divisional round in san diego because i had plans to be down there next weekend. is that possible or am i gonna get fucked?

i called the gamestop that i wanted to play at for the divisional round in mira mesa and they were basically useless. any tips/tricks?

I know this is old but I was one of the winners alongside with Ryan. Man those shitty controller. FYI if you guys like 3rd Strike, we meet always on tuesdays and thursdays at Vista’s Boomers where my buddy bryan show up too once in a while though.

Danny! What up… I was scrolling through old subscribed threads and just noticed this. I transferred back home to TX, working at a GameStop here now. I have those vids, but when I checked them out, fucking Kevin didn’t record ‘full’ matches.

Yeah, Ryan just came back from Japan. Get with him on 3S, he is one of Cali’s top 3S players. I just talked to him two days ago, he’s actually moving to Japan now and I was helping him with resume’ information.

I know Bryan too aka Abomination here on SRK. We all kicked it at my pad after that tourney. Playing on my TEs and messing around till past midnight. (good times)

He was there too, but got lost to a random scrub Ryu. About the controllers… they were shitty ‘MS controllers cuz of the d-pad’, not the condition of them because I busted out new/fresh controllers with new batteries for the tourney. You still playing Ken or SFIV at all?

Well, I always considered San Diego SoCal. What else? SoSoCal? Anyway, I just wanted to reply and answer Danny’s question. Super late, but at least he didn’t go unanswered…up till now. Perhaps I should have just pm’ed instead. :lol:
