ok so i had to beat a friend in semi- to make it to finals then beat some scrub player and make him look bad cuz he beat my friends boxer… 360pads suck ass i dont feel good about winning maybe if i win at 3rd round (if that even possible) i will feel better about it all… ill be gettin a call too about the pads lol
over at Bloomington Mall of America MN, not a finalist but just a quick complaint with the controllers, im sure all the others would agree if they had won or loss. we were using xbox gamestop controllers LMFAO … i couldn’t even throw a hadouken lol jk i did but it was horrible to play on those controllers, wasn’t sure if they had turbo on them though cuz if it did, that bent the rules, anyway good luck all!
Mannn i had a controller with the WORST analog stick lol it was torn up, I couldn’t even slide under Tiger Shots it was so bad. Did anyone else have this problem or was my gamestop Round2 the only one with terrible controllers?
my gamestop brought out brand new wireless controllers to use for tourny… sadly its still a 360 pad n the dpads will never be made for fighting games
I was told by the Round 1 Judge of my tournament, but I do not see this on the site. Sorry saying this. This have made me think he was just rambling to get folks geek about making it to the 2nd round.

took me a while to get to this location as it was really far off… lotsa of transfers on different trains and buses. a much much better turn out then round 1 with at least 30 or more players… problem was everyone was playing on just one machine, so it took nearly an hour before they even got to my first match
the entire tourney was 80% ryu players, with 4 guile players, 2 blanka players, 1 zangief and 1 crimson viper. the Zangief player was doing pretty well, and even claimed that this was the first time he had ever played sf 4 (must have really sucked for the crimson viper player as he looked like he knew what he was doing)
so in the final round I joke that everyone must be sick of ryu by now so I pick Zangief. the the other playyer picks balrog and beats me pretty bad. guess thats what I deserve for experimenting
and of course: no fight pads for us either. just false promises and a green head band

Even if sticks are allowed in Round 3, I think I might stick with the controller. I just got really used to it and got really comfortable with it and the motions. I use the analog stick instead of the pad.

Just wanted to post and say that they had a gamepads ready and waiting for both me and the guy who got second, gave them to us before we had a match for the headband. People who ran the GS were cool too, but of course the controllers in the kiosk were shit and held in place by the hard plastic holders so they won’t move. Regional tourney is at the same store.
