The fight pads should be arriving in stores sometime next week. District home store should be contacting the district winners to pick up their prizes as soon as they come in, or mailed to them. Though every store should have received their ‘Green’ headbands and certificates.

Comments: I didn’t get my pad either. They got my info and said they’d ship it to my local store once they get it in. They let me keep the brackets though, which was cool.

I almost got put out in the first match against a novice Ryu. Like, the 360 pad i had, the corners didn’t register on the d-pad. Jumping back was not happening, and neither was crouch block, so i was getting beat by random sweeps. Finally i was like, “Man I i think something is up with this pad. None of my shit is working, like i can’t crouch block, etc.” I barely got a round on the guy. After the match the GS employee came over (who luckily was a decent SF player and knew about this kind of shit) and checked the pad out. He was like, “Oh wow, yeah…rematch!” Everyone was like, “OHHHH DAMN.” Took the dude straight sets in the rematch.

guys not to ruin anyones day but round 3 never had anything about sticks being used. It was the fightpads were allowed use in round 3 since they were supposed to be prizes and no one would have an excuse saying its unfair. then the finals were sticks since those are round 3 prizes

I won my District. No fightpad either, but they let me take home the bracket, along with the headband and certificate. I thought that was really cool of them, considering the stories of GS douchebaggery I’ve read about on here.

Comments - The pads sucked, definitely not the same pads we played on the last time, cuz the time before I could ultra through tiger shots, now I lost a whole round trying to do so.

  • Random xbox live scrub takes the whole tourney beating 5 SRK members on shit pads while spazzing out his combos

  • This is all actually hilarious, but I don’t think I will be able to sleep at night knowing what really happened

  • I can’t believe my free shit slipped out of my hands just like that, if anyone plays Chun then switch to Bison if your tournament is on pad, RIGHT NOW.

edit: Woulda stunned that scrub with Bison all 3 rounds if I knew what was going on with the pads beforehand.

Nope, only one from each location. That way they have a 16-man bracket for the finals.

Yeah just umthrfkr. He was on the other side of the bracket but got scrubbed by the Sagat scrub too. That shit was unblockable on those pads, really.
