invite you to a Super Street Fighter 4 launch party/tournament combination.

[*]Rounds consist of 99 second time limit in all sets

Tournament to be held exclusively on the Xbox 360 console with Xbox 360 game pads to be provided to contestants for use during the tournament.

Above all be clean, be courteous, and be respectful to your peers.

As of right now, GameStop corporate will NOT allow the use of arcade sticks during the 
tournament due to matches being played on in-store kiosks. I'm trying my hardest to get them to reverse this decision and or be allowed to bring my own system in for use during the tournament.

We got cleared for arcade sticks!!! No turbo settings or you will be DQed without hesitation.

gamestop is breaking there controller only rule just for us so please dont mess it up.

come reserve your copy of super street fighter 4 at union for the support so corporate will
do more events. no sales no more future tournaments for a lack of a better term lol

hey, fix up your thread a little, make it look more professional by adding tournament rules, google maps location etc. what you DON’T want is to make people search around for information about your event and end up finding nothing.

Heh, I’d make update the first post with the additional info … and make this point especially clear. You’ll have a lot of really annoyed people if they show up with their stick only to find they have to use a 360 controller.

ok the stage is set but Gamestop would like members to call and RSVP as soon as possible.
The Turn out will determine if we can any future ssf4 tounrys with gamestop.

I called up the Gamestop yesterday, but the guy didn’t seem to know much about it. Either way, I’ll be attending with a friend tonight.

Just got back and gotta say it was very fun, met alot of new people, and even though my Ibuki got knocked out right away, it was fun watching the other competitors and learning new stuff from others around. Just wanna say good job hosting it, it was a very good and settled tournament, looking forward to seeing more.

The Battle is over!!! This was off the chain and alot more people showed up than we were ready for. thank you all for coming .

It was a larger turnout than we thought so the braket had to be redone right before the event. about 42 people showed up and Nmo thank you all for showing up and supporitng us. We arent sure if the preorder number were strong but if not we will not bale able to do this again. but if this is the last we thank you anyways for helping us.
