Once we set the PS3s to 720p, the lag wasn’t bad at all, totally playable.

I certainly hope we can get Mondays going. I wish they would stay open a little later. I can’t really get there till about 8:00ish and 2 hours seems a little meh. If they were open till midnight on those nights, that would be nicer.
yeah hopefully we can work something out where Mondays is the night they stay open a little longer for us.
Dude, this arcade is literally down the street from my apartment. I won’t be living in Tustin much longer once I graduate from UCI, but until then I’m down for casuals. Not to mention it’d be nice to see John Rog ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME for once instead of seeing him stressing out about running a tournament. Haha.
Do you guys go on any other days for casuals? Monday nights are usually bad for me, although I could probably make it work.
Just wanted to hop on and say GG’S, to everyone that was there Mon. Night! It’s a nice little place! Nice to get games against some other Guy players and Kai’s Fuerte! I’ve never fought against a good/competant Fuerte! So scary, I had no idea what to do! Anyways, GG’S and hope to see you guys there again soon!

This might not be a bad idea but we should also hold sessions on other days to bring in new new comers to the game. You know how this place is near a school and all, we could be teaching them how to play and level up their games as well. It would also bring in a lot more customers for the owner (Paul?).
I bring this up because I remember coming in Monday night to session with everyone else and saw two young cats just pressing buttons…I thought it might be beneficial to them to learn from us too instead of being intimidated.
Just a suggestion! I’d love to help level up new comers but I only really know how to play with Vega. hahaha:sweat:

Sorry for no sessions last night… Everyone was recovering from NCR and the weekend haha. NCR was amazing… our friend is one of the best in the country now!

Game Star Arcade Monday Gatherings
Location: 14001 Newport Avenue Tustin, CA 92780-7830 (corner of Newport & El Camino Real)
Hours of Session: 6PM - 10PM (currently)
Session:
? Planning to be on Mondays.
? There will be 3 stations dedicated to this event, if the turn out grows throughout the night we will try and have Paul open another station.
? The stations will all be Arcade style ( Winner stays on while the losers rotate)
Tournaments:
? We will try to make this a monthly event.
? 32 man bracket,
? double elim.,
? pot split = 70-20-10
Price:
? 5$ entry fee for playing the whole session.
? You will get a wristband showing that you have paid.
Rules:
? Bring your own stick
? Pick up your trash, better yet, don?t bring in any at all
? Respect the owner and show some class by not blurting rude and obscene words
? Don?t loiter in the front.
? Say hi to the owner once in a while and tell him thanks.

^^ sounds good, but since the max room capacity is kinda low people will have to “loiter” on like tournament days or overflow of ppl on “session days”. Don’t loiter if there’s not many people there. Plus there’s that yogurt place next door too. Once everything is official, I’ll update the first few posts on the first page with all the info. Everything looks great otherwise. Hopefully Paul will go for it.
Now I just have to post this thread on the Tekken forum and get something going on that end for Tekken 6.
