Super Castlevania IV with it’s 8-direction attacking would probably be pretty awesome on a stick.
As someone who grew up playing them and beating them alot, beating them on the arcade stick was like a whole new game. Was like playing it for the first time (aside that I knew where everything was and all the weaknesses).
So yeah, my vote goes for any megamans, tried out FF Tactics. Metal Slug also, don’t know if that counts. Thats all I got.
gba has a good library of shooters platformers and beatemups…Visualboy Advance 1.8 has joystick support ;p
Frets on Fire (Guitar Hero/Rock Band for the PC). Stick for the pick, buttons for the frets. Works surprisingly well if you’re stuck with your arcade stick.
Jet Grind Radio would be great with an arcade stick… if it functions with analog.
I Actually tried playing Halo 3 with a stick and managed to get a single kill , then switched to the Guitar Hero controller for Halo 3 and ended up being dizzy.
Some games that allow you to move with the D-Pad and don’t use a right stick , can be played only if you actually are crazy enough to try.
First game I played when I got my TvC stick was Final Fight 3. Mary Mother of God did it make that game more fun. Now I understand why beat 'em ups didn’t survive past the arcade era.
