I forgot…Colony Wars. That space fighter felt a bit balanced there.
ONE for Playstation. This game came out back in like 98’. I never beat it, it was an awsome game for it’s time. I wish I had it now. Your a guy with a gun and some bombs. It has an overhead view like crash bandicoot. The more people you killed, the more powerful you got.
ONEZ
You got me.
Fine, here’s a real answer: Granstream Saga and Azure Dreams.
I’m surprised someone played Transformers: Beast Wars Neo.
I didn’t even know Skeleton Warriors actually came out for PS1, I thought it went to development hell.
Ok, I might be the only one who played Eliminator for the Commodore 64. Awesome spaceship rail shooter
I played most of the Technos Kunio games. They are all good. Kunio Basketball was HARD…the cpu is actually quite good in all the Kunio games.
My FAVORITE Kunio game was this MMA style Kunio game. It’s basically a fighting game, with different martial art schools fighting. There was Judo, Street fighting, Karate, and other stuff. They all wore different clothing. It was a 2 on 2 game.
It was really really hard, IMO
The SNES version Kunio 2player game was AWESOME. I don’t even know if I still have that anymore. But my bro and I finished it. It was crazy and fun.
Shadow Dancer, I played in the arcade, and finished it on MAME
Shatterhand (NES) was definitely an underappreciated and awesome game. It was hard though.
I might also be the only one who played Werewolf: The Last Warrior on NES. This one is rare, but there might be people here who have played it…
Has anyone ever played:
Racing Lagoon (Racing RPG by Square for PS1)
Samurai Shodown RPG
REZ
Too fucking good.
Robo Pit for PSX
rocket knight adventure (genesis)
life is grand when youre an… opossum? wearing armor.
I still play it. LOL
Alex Kidd In High Tech World for SMS
Impossible
I have played them both. I really wish racing Lagoon had come out in the states, i think it would have done well, as well as samurai showdown RPG, it STILL puzzles me why it was never released in the US.
And Digical League was fun as hell.
EVO: Search for Eden for the SNES. You start out as a fish and evolve into different creatures as the game progresses, based on different choices you made (dorsal fins, legs, teeth, neck length, etc). Actually a very slow moving game, but I really liked if despite that.
Vagrant Story for the PS1. I think I was the only one to buy this from the EB Games that I used to frequent. I never did get a chance to finish it (that, and it came out around the same time as Parasite Eve 2 and MvC2 for the DC if I remember right).
I remember Vandal Hearts. It’s sitting in the stack of half played games that I intend to finish someday but know I’ll never get around to.
that metal gear solid for gameboy color.
descent for pc.
skeleton warriors was on Saturn as well, i believe.
What is Beast Wars Neo? I have TF: Beast Wars and BW Transmetals both for ps1 but havent come across beast wars neo.
I also played Toshinden 2 at the arcade…never knew anyone who had played it on the actual arcade cabinet before
Poy Poy for the PS1
such a good game, almost no one has ever heard of it.
I owned this game. I’ve never beaten it, though, since it’s ridiculously hard.
You beat it by not sucking at the game.
I have also played Poy Poy. It’s like the predecessor of Smash.
Galleon. This game sucks. Surprise, surprise, it’s an Atlus game.
I’ll buy it off you for $1. The game is so quirky and japanese it’s awesome.
and I also own Gekido. Classic style beat-em-up, and featured Fatboy Slim’s music. It gets rediculously hard toward the end.
I remember that game, I loved it, still play it.
What the hell did they say when you the boss?
BUM BUM BUM, PLACCEEBOOOH.
I still play Doom.
TF: Beast Wars Neo was a Japan release only for Gameboy Color. It was made by Takara (same ppl who made KOF95 and KOF96 for GB)
It was a fighting game with the Beast Wars TFers, and it was quite good. Beast Wars Neo is the japanese TF cartoon that follows after Transmetals (For Japan, they didn’t go into the crazy Beast Machines)
The characters had 2 modes, Robot and Creature/whatever, and there were a lot of moves, and 2 hidden characters. They had the new japanese only TF characters like that Triceratops Decepticon (Guiledart, I believe) and a Kangaroo Autobot hidden character (forgot name)
Puy Poy is fun. As stated, kinda like Smash.
Brigadine for PS1 was rare. My friend had it and loved it. I never played, but it is rare.
Vagrant Story is a great game, but not rare. Finished it. It is unappreciated though, the Risk system is cool
Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel for GBC is good, but I never finished it. My bro finished it and said it was very good.
I’m going out on a limb here, but in a really old issue of GAMEFAN, before FF7, there was talk of a FF7 on N64 (at that time, still called Ultra64) and there were CG pictures of Terra and Locke, in SD FF fashion. Was that even a game?
Was it ever released?
Here is a picture of it.
yup, I remember that pic in all the game magazines. It was never released - they couldn’t fit the game onto a catridge
