That game was so awesome.
I remember the intro, when everyone would rape Slash with items, and then he would still win or something.
Oh, yeah. Omikron for Dreamcast.
Tin Head and Ristar on Sega Genesis

this, and i enjoyed it. i’ve never heard anyone talked about this game or even know about it.
I had a coworker who used to rave about playing the shit out of that game. I never even heard of it til he started talking about it. sounded interesting
Descent was first by something like two, three months. I’ve still got Terminal Velocity somewhere, I might try to dig it out now…
I think I’ve played every SNES baseball game that ever existed at least once in my childhood. I was weird like that.
Not sure how many people heard of it, but I still own a Squaresoft(now Square-Enix, obviously) racing simulator called Driving Emotion Type-S. It was a trully flawed game, but since it was released during the early days of the PS2, and the system trully had so very few good games, I decided to pick it simply based on the publisher since I used to be a huge Square fan at the time(not so much anymore). The physics were really bad and made taking corners faster than 20mph on most cars impossible. There was no customization at all(though you could tune things like handling and brakes), and there was only about 10 tracks with day/night modes. I completed the game 100% somehow, must’ve been due to the fact that I had nothing to play except for Tekken Tag when friends came over.
I will say though, the game was one of the first racing titles I played that had a fully working first person, dashboard camera that other racers are just now fully taking advantage of. Sadly, it was never the best view to actually race in, but it was definitely something that set the game apart from other racers at the time.
Wow, Hybrid Heaven was a good game. I also enjoyed Blast Corps, Bio FREAKS, and for some reason I fucking LOVED Body Harvest. Never did finish it though
Kind of a dumb question on a fighting game forum, but anybody ever play Weaponlord? Probably one of my top 3 favourite fighters. Divada…IS…VICTORIOUS!
Anybody ever play Bases Loaded for the NES? My dad LOVED that game, but it didn’t keep track of stats (or tell u the ERA’s for pitchers before u subbed em in), so he made notes. LOTS of notes. On every player in the game, as well as every game he played.
Although I do that now with EA’s NHL games (i really wish they’d learn to have a stat tracker for Player vs Player games)
Yeah, my brothers and I used to play a LOT of Bases Loaded. The ridiculous pitches that we made up were awesome. Crazy sinkers, curveballs, and a really odd rising pitch that would barely clip the top of the strike zone were my favorites.
lol god I forgot about that sweet pitching…it was ahead of its time, except for the fact you could pitch some of teh most fucked up pitches. I remember knuckleball type pitches that would go like 20 mph but have a wierd dip in them later. I also loved how no matter where you pitched the ball, the catchers glove would snag it…even if you pitched the ball like 15 feet away from him
and the umpires names were awesome. Dum, Yuk, Boo, and Bum
I always played as Jersey, as they had 2 power hitters that did nothing but hit homeruns (i had to dust off my NES to figure out who they were: Paste and Bay)
Musya for SNES
and Dragon Ball GT FOR SNES! bootleg
MegaRace (PC)
Awesome racing game, pre-dated Ridge Racer yet played very much like it. One of the first home games to be truly 3D with full FMV cut-scenes. A landmark game that got lost in time… like tears in rain… DAMN YOU PLAYSTATION!!!
Cyborg Justice on the Sega Genesis.
Game was seriously shit.
Aw yeah! That was my shiznite!! I’ll play that one to this day.
Ewwwwww… I remember that one. So easy, a caveman could play it…blindfolded.
-Starhammer-
I own this game as well.
And pretty much any game with licensed cars.
Its impossible to go straight after you turn once.
