Games Only You Have Played

I vividly remember finding and playing a copy of Wall Street Kid for NES, initially making fun of it and then slowly getting hooked on it.

A few others that stood out were Street Fighter 2010 for SNES, Two Stupid Dogs the videogame for 3DO and Einhander for Playstation.

Faxandu - NES, have no clue what it even was about but it was wierd
Flashback - Genesis futuristic type action/adventure game

Ninja Baseball Batman, four player beat em up where you control robot ninja baseball players and fight evil baseball equipment

Smartball, SNES

Jazz Jackrabbit. Good times…

Fighting Bujutsu in the official large Cobra cab!

I was the only person of my friends or even people in my school who played Claymates, however, my friends played Clay Fighter for the SNES with me quite a bit back in 1994…

Turbografx16. The whole system :frowning:

Can someone help me remember what this game was… it was for MS-DOS back in the day.

It was a dogfight simulator with f-16’s (i think) and other similar airplanes. In between flights there were point and click sequences to further the storyline, and to outfit your plane with missiles and stuff.

I mostly remember a desert backdrop to the game… the in between sequences seemed almost LucasArt like.

I loved both of these games, and I still own an original copy of Faxanadu.

Game had pretty good music too IMO, for an 8-bitter. Was a GREAT RPG. DELUGE MY NIGGA! DELUGE! If you havn’t played this game, I’d suggest messing around with it.

I was thinking … how many people here have played “Arcana” on the SNES? It was a semi-lame RPG, but it was all about cards and shit. It’s actually where my screen name came from… Rooks was the main character… Let’s see if I can find a vid of it on the U.

Was a really great game… I still own the Cartridge somewhere… I think I got it for my brother for his birthday, but he never got into it… so I took it back

EDIT: hmmmm SNES Drakkhen anyone? Some people consider it the worst game of all time :stuck_out_tongue: Others consider it a classic RPG that helped shape the future of RPG gaming. <shrug> I can see it as a precursor to some WRPGs of today, I suppose.

man i liked that game…hard as fuck, especially when u have the japanese version (and dont understand Japanese)

Also, Little Mermaid for NES (bunch of buddies tried to see how fast we could beat it back in the day)

and there is this game that was only out in japan waaaaaaaaay back I remember reading about, where you would fly around killing shit, Gradius style…only thing was u weren’t a plane/jet/spaceship, you were two gay guys flying around, with one guy mounting the other guy, Ace and Gary style

MS-DOS - redneck rampage. seriously fun FPS,very doom/wolfenstein esque.

some of you probably played this:

PS2 - Mister Misquito

Fucking love that game. biting a family of japanese people rocks.

drakkhen was … interesting. getting the bludgeon and beating a dog head that looked like it’s eyes were going to pew pew. good times.

edit: faxanadu was fucking awesome, i’ve seen a lot of games mentioned here that are just good old games and not really rare imo.

Flash Back was good, bet no one has played syndicate for snes. Game was so bad ass

I have Syndicate for jaguar, dunno if its the same.

Planescape: torment.

Always talk about this game, nobody but a handful of people on the internet even knows what genre of game it is (RPG, and probably one of the best ones ever made.)

wow rise of the traids and redneck rampage…why not throw out Shadow Warrior while we’re at it, with all the wonderful one liners

Anybody remember Syndicate or Syndicate Wars? Good ol’ classic Bullfrog games (correct me if I am wrong, but didnt Peter Molyneux work on them?)

And Planescape Torment was fucking awesome…too bad one of the discs was fucked for me, so I never got to beat it. Great idea for an RPG though (basically ur dude was a level 20 EVERYTHING, but the downside was he kept dying and forgetting shit).

same shit happened with my Dark Sun: Wake of the Ravager game…for some reason the final boss (a tarrasque) wouldn’t ever be visible, so the end boss of the game was an invisible untouchable death machine

The Discworld point and click games on the pc
Chromehounds -(Best mecha game this gen that no-one plays)
Battle Fantasia -(Speaks for itself really)

Just played it yesterday. It’s GLORIOUS.

Battle Hunter. Few people have probably played it, let alone heard of it.
