My name is Ben and I usually spend most of my time here working in GamePAD.
We’re a local game store located @ Brooklyn and we have MVC2, Neo Geo Mania, SFIV sit downs on the 360 where people Bring their own controllers (Whether it’s customs or TE). We also have Yugioh card battles and whatnot. We carry alot of game titles for current gen consoles brand new and preowned. I’m thinking in the near future we might throw tournaments for SFIV and other games. Please feel free to visit us @ Bay Parkway, Between 68th street and West 9th if anyone is interested. Sticks are awkward though, what are they?
Been a while since I had some training mode for them scoops and pringles.

Yes. I will be there tomorrow. I’m usually at CF on Fridays and Saturday.

Is that MvC2 square gates or do the sticks just “stick” a little?

$0.50 a game
$1.00 10 minutes
$5.00 1 hour
Member Rates:
$0.50 a game

Brings back memories of the early/mid 90s and hopefully more players as well.

What are the hours again? My friend passed by the place like at 10pm tonight and said it was still open. I had several chances to stop by but didn’t because I thought that it would be closed already.
Just putting this to a vote/poll. How many people would like to have weekly sit downs or maybe weekly tournaments? Name your game, we’ll try to throw something together.
For weekly sit-downs:
You and your friends can come down at store’s opening pay X amount per person (right now we are figuring $10) stay as long as you like, 'till we close. And play/practice whatever game you like. It’ll be a BYOC, though we do have 1 house controller for the 360 and 1 for the PS3.
For weekly tournaments:
We can have a $5 house fee / $5 tournament fee. Normal cash prize payout of 70%/20%/10%, and maybe added prizes in the form of free play days for the sit downs, or free computer time or other prizes not yet decided upon. Once again the games are up for the choosing. These will most likely be small tourneys, for you guys to practice in and a chance to win something.
This is just something we are throwing out to the community. We are open to any constructive criticism and suggestions.

Elder, yeah our hours aren’t set in stone. Most of the times we close by 9pm - 9:30pm. But there are days that we close later, depending on the number of people left in the store during those hours, and if we have any local tournaments going on, mostly Yu-Gi-Oh!
We are offerring All Day Passes for anyone that wants to play/practice for $10 per person!!! Play from open to closing!! Practice Street Fighter 4 or Tekken 6!! Controllers/Arcade sticks are available for $5 per person, or you can bring your own controller. You can play on PS3 or XBOX 360! Get ready for the tournament.
