Hey everyone, check out the tourney coming up this weekend in Auburn WA. I know this is short notice for some, but if you are looking to get in some games this weekend then come on out! GB has had two successful SF4/MVC3 tourneys this summer and they are looking to continue this trend with us.

Location: Gamebreakerz Auburn, WA

Super SF4 AE & Marvel vs Capcom 3 (Xbox 360)
$25 Entry Both Events ($10 Towards each Tournament & $5 Towards Venue)
or
$15 Entry Fee 1 Event ($10 Towards Payout & $5 Towards Venue)

Double elimination tournament
2 out of 3 games per match
3 out of 5 games for Winner’s + Loser’s + Grand Finals
Winner keeps same character/team order
*Can change ultras for SSF4 AE win or lose

Minimum Required Participation (10 Registered Players)

1st Place Price = 70% of Entry Fees
2nd Place Prize = 20% of Entry Fees
3rd Place Prize = 10% of Entry Fees

Schedule:
4PM - 6:30PM Open Casuals & Setup ($5 VENUE OPEN SESSIONS)
6:30pm - 7:00PM Bracket Setup & Final Prep (Signups END at 6:30PM)
7:00PM - ??? The ELP Tourney
??? - Midnight / 1AM Open Sessions or Open Play

Controller/Stick Problems:
YOU ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER!!!

You are required to button check before your match. There are no excuses. The LS/RS excuse will not fly. If you have any stick/button problems at anytime during your match, its your problem, its your job to make sure your stick is reliable. The round will be played to conclusion and you will get a chance to fix your buttons or replace your stick next round.

Is there anything we can do about the T.V’s? Can anyone bring ASUS or regular CRT’s because… this game isn’t meant to be played on a bigscreen…

It’s possible for me to bring a complete set up. I play with no lag on a 21" PC Monitor via VGA cable on high resolution. If I come, I’ll bring an entire setup.

We can try to bring monitors for marvel at least, that is where I heard a lot of trouble in terms of lag at least. I have at least 1 asus monitor to bring. So if 2 other people commit, then we can have all smaller monitors.

Please note - We will only run a tourney on small monitors if we can get 3 FOR ALL 3 SETUPS. We are not going to bottleneck the tourney with just 1 monitor while everyone waits on it.
