Problem is that currently they have 10 posts per page. So I made a deal with them saying that they only get the game hosted there if they can fix that. They’re still trying to work it out. If they don’t work it out, I may need to make a last minute change of venue 
@Thingyman, one of our players, @ForgeDigger has a forum on a free site that she’s used to run offsite games before, that she tailored for playing mafia, including a mafia only thread that’s hidden to the rest of the players where post count doesn’t increase from posting in it, and doesn’t allow for edits, and only allows PMs between the player and GMs.
If that would be something useful, I’m sure that could be used for this.
Also, if no one else objects, whoever gets selected for this game will get a bonus point for participation on our Leaderboard, 2 points if they win as a civilian, 3 points if they win as mafia.

These games have been a huge spectator success. A lot of people are watching and enjoying this. It’s led to a ton of crossover games between sites. All that wouldn’t happen if only the players could view the thread. This is as much an attempt to let the greatest mafia players face off against each other as it is an attempt to build a bridge between all the different mafia sites.
Edit: I think I misunderstood your post. You mean a thread only the mafia team can see? Gotcha.

Here it is. Like I said, it’s on a free hosting site, but the server was stable from what I can remember and it worked very well.
I’m happy to go represent srk if I get selected, otherwise I think mp has a solid case for himself. That being said, i’d also send fuzz, kaz or Chief. I think any of our vets will have a great change without the death sentence playing on here gives them.
I’d be hesitant to send Augustus and wah for the listed reasons, and sad has said before that he gets extremely anxious so I’d probably not nominate him for that reason.
You guys are slowly convincing me to vote WTF-AKUMA-HAX.
In all honesty, you guys should really consider wending WTF-AKUMA-HAX just because of the way he posts. Think of it as a really subtle Gaia raid. If 2 SRKers are together as either mafia, or Civ, you get a huge advantage since you’d be able to decipher his posts. Afterwards you’d be able to stop a lynching by claiming the nigga is special ed and that playing in the game means a lot to him. I assure you, nobody is wasting a night on killing a perceived retard. 
I’m curious: Would you still be playing the Arena game if you were elected, though?
Not yet knowing what the arena holds I can’t say for certain but the first game didn’t require much thread activity.
I may have been overlooked, but don’t forget about me. I’ve been around mafia for a long time, and enjoyed it so much I brought it back out of obscurity and helped mold it to what it is today. Given my job, I can dedicate the time required to the attention of the thread so keeping up won’t be an issue. I also bring some unique technical approaches to the game, such as my post count program, that I can modify and use in the game to show a little bit of that SRK flavor, plus it will help me find the wallflower mafia.
In an environment where I’m a virtual unknown, I will not have the name bias I do here. I am repeatedly one of the first ones killed off in our games, for good reason: I have the ability to read people, and I also have the ability to manipulate people. Both are qualities that would bode well for this cross-site mafia game.
That said, I feel like we have plenty of solid choices to pool from. Synonym was my top choice and he wants to play, so I feel like he is the most well rounded player we could send. I think, simply, he is the best at mafia currently, period.
But does he have the SRK flavor? Didn’t he join this site just for Mafia? Does he even play fighting games?
I feel like he doesn’t really represent SRK as a personality like some other choices would. So the question is, are we just sending the best mafia player we have, or a true SRKer that took their passion for competition and funneled it into mafia games?

Copy that selection and then edit it out. If we’re going to be scouting the other sites we have to assume they’re going to be scouting us. You just listed most of the players who could feasibly go and a short bio on them in a public thread. I’ll make a big PM and you can repost it there.

In a way, choosing our player based on how good they are over how well they represent us is the FGC way. We have plenty of Yipes’ that play Mafia that perfectly represent who we are and how we do, but if we’re sending one player out to represent our website, you can sure as shit bet that we’re sending our Chris G out there to abuse as much broken tech and OP characters as possible.
Because we FGC. And we play to win.
