Nope… People with bad wake options should be better overall. That’s if tech rolling has no consequences. Also don’t forget you can use 1 bar to tag in your partner when your knockdown.

Nope if you tag when your knocked down. There is a brief light and your partners comes running in while your other partner is down…no delay. It will be hard to react to that’s for a fact.
But you could still try to chip the dude out when he’s on the ground, and then have the move hit the other character if he tries to tag.
The tag dynamic only seems to be useful for combo’s
Can, do something like play a zoning character get a knock down and then tag in a character with a good mixup on the opponents wakeup. It does not seem like it.
Seems like it is just for combo’s.

Didnt see a backroll. even asked a capcom guy last weekend during SxT presentation if there was. he wasnt sure so went into the Trainings Mode and looked at the Wake up Options. You only had Front Roll and Quick Rise. QR didnt do a type of Roll, so it does what it says it does I guess (didnt notice a difference)

I saw a korean vid where Kazuya was doing that multi hit Spinning kick and taggged in partner at the same time. Partner had enough time to do a jump in afterwards, Im sure he could have done a jump in mix up (jump X/whiff jump low hit) while Kazuya was still putting the oponent in blockstun.
theory : moves w/ lots of hits and all the hits spread out as far as possible = good tag ins
eg. ground tatsus (if you cant crouch down against it), HK Cannon drill (2 hits)

I’m liking that vortex bullshit and derpy focus are toned down/out. I’m just worried on what nonsense will take their place. I’m placing bets on that 2 vs 1cross thing

Cross assault is CPU controlled, Save that meter for a cross art instead
Cross Assault is only worth it with a Human Partner, and even that has its pros and cons, however its makes good/funny combo movies…I still need confirmation on whether or not meter is unlimited during the duration of Cross Assault.
Meter isn’t unlimetd during the duration it’s gonna make the timer deplete faster
ok, so its way different from the build i last played, in that case I wont bother with it tonight. I kinda hate how Capcom never really uses the same venue for these events in nor-cal…i been to like 4 different ones in the span of 2 weeks…im getting burned out…
Didn’t realize cross assault was cpu controlled. That’s kind of weird. I just remembered some video where a player was trapped on both sides and bounced around like a ping pong ball
Best part of cross assualt IMO…now it’s all gone…the cpu is incredibly stupid
they should add the option to change it so its some what better in a 1 v 2 match.
Cross Assault would’ve been broken with human control, especially the first version where you didn’t even need 3 bars. Now it might as well be removed from the game. You’re never going to find a good medium for this… I think the only time I’ll use Cross Assault is if I want to style on someone who I’m easily beating.
