A weekly tournament sounds like a good idea. A perfect way for me to practice getting mentally tough or whatever. I’d participate in stuff Like HDR too and maybe Mvc2 . I’m sure Damien would want to show the power of Johnny Cage
Yeah, playing in the arcade or when there’s something on the line is a lot different than casuals. The more you do it the better, and since we don’t have these kinds of opportunity anymore with no arcades, seems like a good idea.
Plus it forces me, John, and Harmon to play SFIV, haha
Shit, all he wants is a $20 deposit but he doesn’t have Paypal. LuckyDay, respond to me PM please – I’m trying to find someone to drop by his place by 5:30!!
But yeah, the idea of weekly ranbats sounds kickass. Maybe we could stream the matches as well. I have a UStream account and a webcam to stream the matches with, if that’s okay.
Yeah sorry for the last minute cancel – but it’ll be worth it when we have this machine NEXT week (plus we found a UMK3 and Marvel Super Heroes dirt cheap too, in Geuga co.)
Only place you can see Johnny Cage in UMK3 is in the ground where he belongs
guess the metal gear mix will have to wait haha… i really wanted to to put some policenauts and snatcher music on it… guess i’ll work on another mix tonite ;]
The NBA Jam has some problems but they’re fixable. The horizontal scan John is harder to fix than just turning a knob – you need a plastic tool to actually adjust the horizontal coil, that’s why there’s no regular knob for it. If the power supply actually went bad we can just replace it. I’m gonna have Pete look at it, he’s good with that shit.
Wrestlefest got sold already btw. I’m still waiting for the UMK3/MSH machine guy to get back at me
The weekly SF4 ranbats sounds like an awesome idea to me, would be on board for that.
I have a Xmen vs Street Fighter arcade machine at my house, i just need to replace the sticks and buttons as some of the buttons don’t work. What kind of sticks/buttons do you need to buy for an arcade cabinet? My only experience replacing sticks/buttons was popping in Sanwa’s on a Madcats SE fightstick.
