Yeah Zach – my friend who I’m staying with says sometimes he really hates Japan, and sometimes he really loves it. Definitely not a perfect place and from what everyone says, it’s hard to be a foreignor here no matter how long you’ve been here. Everyone is polite and everything but people who’ve only lived in Japan just treat you different, I guess.

I bought so much shit yesterday. A couple not-so-well-liked SF games we can play 
and tons of random stuff. I found a fantastic Red Heat mini-poster that has Arnold with an absurb level of intensity on his face.
I found that lifesize Big Boss statue! And in the electronics district of Osaka “Den Den Town” the game selection is mindblowing. Like I can’t believe it exists … anywhere, let alone shop after shop after shop.
I got to play one guy in SFIV – took me 4 tries to beat his Gief with my Sagat No one is really playing it even though there are lots of nice cabs in lots of arcades. Most people were playing random stuff … and this mech game that looks like Virtual On is really hype here. So are all these weird arcade-based card games I didn’t know existed.
The only other semi-serious match I played was in SF:AE, ugh, guy just using ST Sagat that I beat up.
