Fight Night might be more crowded this week – we’ll see what’s going on but I can set up a little better if we have a crowd now. I mean 4 tube TVs down there so we can figure something out. I had a couple PMs from guys at the Friday tourney.
I’m gonna try to get more SFIV in since that’s where the $$ is Did you guys see the Indy numbers? 13 for 3s (dead), 7 for Marvel (it’s supposed to be resurrected!), a dozen for SF:HD … 39 for SFIV, 33 for BB I’ll try not to bitch so much about it, haha, maybe I can just learn to be nonchalant about its nonsense –
I need a copy of SFIV on 360 and Sony if someone can bring each, just in case – John, make sure to bring your system still or else we’re going to have an angry mob on our hands. We could use another 360 stick if someone has one dual modded and doesn’t mind letting people use it.
If we’re going almost-all SFIV I’m going to have to counteract that though with extra cheesiness on the weekly movie/TV show … “Find Ken and ReeYoo, and get the hostages AHHHT!”
Yeah, leaving Thursday, gone until Sept. 13 – when I was looking up plane ticket prices for Daigo, I was like, shit, I wanna go … wanted to do something really cool before I go back to school and while I have a ton of vacation.
I wanted to meet Daigo in Tokyo or something and do an interview w/ my friend translating, but it’s 4 h from Osaka. I think we can do a pre-interview with him when he comes for SB instead.
I dunno how much stuff I’m allowed to bring back or what, but I’m packing light to make room. Tonight I’m hanging out w/ my friend who I’m going with, so he’s gonna give me the rundown on packing/logistics/all that. I’d def be happy to be the middleman if you wanted something. It’ll be hard bringing large stuff back probably but that’s the only prob.
He’s going to a concert for like a day and a half, so that’s all wandering/arcade time all to myself! Hopefully it won’t be as boring as Shenmue and I’ll be driving a forklift for spare yen.
