Hey man, glad to see a Gainesville OG resurfacing. AFAIK pretty much everyone that was left at the beginning of the year so it’s just a bunch of us newbloods in town (around 7 or 8 of us) We have pretty much transitioned over to MvC3 as none of us knew how to play MvC2. We also play SSFIV, MK9, AH3, BB and HDR. 3rd strike is about as oldschool as we get lol. Hopefully you can make it out to one of our meetings soon. Just message Folken for directions to his place.

Don’t worry about getting bodied. I’ve been in finals mode lately and haven’t had a chance to play too much marvel… poor thor has been neglected.

Hammy: 1-0
Good fun. Nice to know I was properly bodied in Marvel after only playing MK for a while, and Matt and I showing everyone how to MK it up. Hopefully more of you give it a chance in the future. It’s easy to scoff at it because of its “difference”, but I think I’m enjoying it more because of the fact that it isn’t just another capcom fighter.
With people not already having background (because really, it’s a totally different game than previous entries as a reboot should be), I find myself eager to get into it because I won’t have to practice for months and months just to a level and not get wrecked(not even win) where people already are in other games, as it’s fresh for everyone.
Maybe I’ll let some of you beat me up in 3s (because I haven’t ever played it before) or keep wrecking me in Marvel if you come let me beat you up in MK. 
I’m coming back with a vengeance in money matches next time we get to play Rob. Unless we play the nerf-off in AE which will be low damage Time Overs all game.
I don’t know why Petey, but I feel more comfortable in Sagat v. Akuma than in Rose v. Akuma. Maybe its the larger health or the viable wake up option. Who knows?
So what’s a good day for hosting summer meet-ups? Thursday and Friday nights are no good for me but I think most other days and nights are good. What is everyone’s preference?

I’m totally open for any day right now really. Applied for a job, went in for a week with some other people, and now none of us have heard back in nearly a month So that won’t be playing any role in my schedule apparently.
Wish I could join you guys. I just went back to SSF4, getting ready for AE. Oh well, hope to get there sometime soon.
