I was thinking to myself, “Hmm, it’s late, but maybe I should practice some on AH3 and SSF4 before I go tomorrow,” and I start with AH3 to grind out some basic Heart combos. Now, I feel like I spent 10-20 minutes on actual combos and 40 minutes trying to do:
2a 2b 2c 6d 5a 5c j.a j.b j.c 5a j.a j.b j.4b dj j.a j.b j.c 623ab/214ab/j.e (I haven’t gotten this far yet)
Not only have I still not done it yet (Dang my poor execution!), it’s completely worthless since up to the dj, it does basically as much damage as 2a 2b 2c 236a 236ab/623ab for the same meter.

Yeah dude thats the thing…the loldmg in this game is retarded. I can do B C super with Kamui and that does like 25%. You’re lucky you can do a 5A after j.a j.b j.c…I have to time the rejump perfectly or else it doesn’t combo :shake:
I had AH1 for ps2 and I didn’t like it at all. I know nothing about 3 but it sounds really good so I’m willing to give it a try.
Ahaha, I’m pretty sure Kamui’s B C Super does more damage than most of the combos I can do right now. I guess the proration in this game is pretty strong though. Moreso than MB/BB, anyway. j.e 2c 236a 236ab does more damage than j.e 2b 2c 236a 236ab if I remember correctly.
Also, that sucks. I kinda want to try it myself just to see how hard it is, but I already have SSF4 in my PS3 now.
You might like it. It depends on why you didn’t like AH1. Not claiming to actually know what I’m talking about, but if you didn’t like AH1 because of the differences between SF and pretty much every air-dashing game, it doesn’t matter what the differences between the versions are.
Give it a try though. I never thought I’d be playing SSF4, and turns out it’s not bad. Plus, I have to accept that playing it will make me a better player than if I just stuck to BB.
