I don’t have a tv to spare, which is usually the highest in demand… But I can easily transport my xbox, (Which has SF3 installed) and SF4AE. I also have two arcade sticks if there might be the need for spares at meetups for casuals.

Awesome. I’ll probably host something either saturday or sunday at my place. I usually never know when until a couple days before. When I decide on a date I’ll be sure to send you directions.
We’re usually good on TVs and sticks but an extra system is always appreciated. Meetups are bring your own stick/controller.

I’ve decided the only way to definitively deal with Zero is to build 5 bars and commence with the lollercaust. Hope this helps.
great tournament on saturday. it was incredibly smooth, hats off to rob for putting it on. good to see all the regulars and even better to see so many new faces. the scene here is growing at an alarming rate, i hope everyone tries to stick with it and join us for sessions when they can.

i know a couple of you saw, but i actually found some tekken players!!! it looks like there are around 5 people in gainesville now that play the game. would be a good time for more people to pick it up if interested.

Yeah I just realized there’s a UF football game saturday. Looks like I’m hosting sunday (3pm to 9pm).
Just a reminder… once the semester really gets in gear I probably won’t be able to host anything on weekends when UF plays at home. Sorry guys. I’ll try to make it up with a random weekday when that happens.
Glad to hear so many people had fun at the tournament. I’ve started to talk to people about reserving rooms on campus so hopefully that’ll be resolved soon.

I can sometimes help with hosting on Thursday or the weekends btw, I have room for probably 3 setups more or less in the lobby + room, I just need to let them know ahead of time that there’s a lot of people coming and they’re not bringing beer.
Next time hammy hosts im bringing beer, getting wasted and throwing up in your roomates’ rooms.

I was thinking about this the other night. What say ya’ll about bringing $5 weekly or biweekly for a little impromptu and optional tournament at one of these get togethers we already have? Say every other saturday when we meet u at Rob’s.

I don’t think streaming is a priority tbh, even for bigger tournies in Orlampa the audience there isn’t too big, it’s mostly people that wish they could’ve gone but didn’t because of work/school/family. I do think it’d be cool if there was “a projector stage” we could use next time a tourney as big as F11 comes by.
Yeah it’s definitely not something that we need to think about right away, but I think it would be cool to do something like FinestKO does…they stream whenever they have tournament’s or whatever…and if someone wants to stream a different game at a different time they can do that on the same stream channel. I dunno, just a thought. But getting a Happauge HDPVR, mixers and mics is a whole lot of money. Something to think about though…
