even tho akuma can teleport out of blockstrings nearly unpunishably, u shouldnt sweat it much cuz it forces him to give up a lot of ground. just make sure you’re able to capitalize on a cornered akuma

My PS3 broke so I haven’t had access to Marvel 2/3 or SSF4. I’m probably gonna get a new PC rig anyway since my desktop is pretty old now a days and needs a sorely needed upgrade. Hopefully I can do that this summer and get SSF4 AE on PC.

I think I’ve played against one Vega in my entire time playing this game. I don’t even know most of his moves. I just know he jumps on walls.
I just played a T-Hawk online whose strategy consisted of
A. Condor dive at long range.
B. Jump back and forth for "cross-ups"
C. Jump-in command throw
And I couldn’t do anything. I played him twice and lost both times. I hate learning fighting games online.

This is not the attitude to take. You post, you ask questions, you look for sessions, you take ass whoopings but you ask “why is this happening?” during them. Dont sit there and not say anything because you learn nothing. At worst, the other players will tell you to hold the block button, stop mashing through block strings and do better combos, but shit, thats better than nothing.
Hell, you see me posting up a storm with Petey, asking questions, discussing characters, and why? Not because I lost 11 games straight, but because I want to get it to the point if I make a decision in a match with him (or any other Akuma who’s got the same know how as he does to the vortex), and it was the wrong decision, then I definitively KNOW it was the wrong decision to make rather than me not having a clue as to what the right decision is and hoping for the best. Knockdown cannot equivocate death for me, so I blow up the forums so that I can learn how to survive a knockdown.
Point is, nobody got better isolating themselves from the community.
