I would like to enter that tourney thing next Thursday. How do I go about doing that?
I play on the 360 as I’ve had that the longest. I just recently purchased a PS3, so I might double up on some games once prices drop as far as they’ll drop.
Looking forward to meeting you guys and playing some games. Though I can’t make this weekend’s meet-up since I’m helping a friend move out of his apartment. But, I’m down for the next one and if the tournament is before that, then I’ll see you all then.

Depends on if I go to the tournament in tally on saturday. If I go I’ll probably host on sunday, otherwise I dunno.

I guess I need Balrog MU experience too. Got 7th in Jax’s AE tourney and 4th in MvC3. Abel and Balrog got me in AE. BLANKA ALMOST GOT ME TOO.
I would’ve done fine in a Rose/Rog. In fact I had to play that twice in a row after 
(patient close to time outs everywhere) but besides not anti-air TU enough yeah some tips on a DP/Fireball character vs Rog would be good.
Make a full-time switch to Sagat.
I’m having trouble committing to that though, Vega/Sagat and Guile/Sagat are two matches I hate. But I wiped out a really good guile clean 2-0 at serenity with Rose because they both got nerfed and you just have to play patient. I consider myself a Rose main with Sagat tendencies, maybe it’s time to switch that around
one of the guys for the thursday gaming event came up to me randomly and talked to me about like the events this week and he said that the thursday event is being co sponsored by best buy so winners of some of the tournaments will win like best buy gift cards and like controllers and such
That’s cool, I wish last year’s Gator Gaming tournament had prizes. /salty
If the last tourney was any indication though, you can get pretty far just by sandbagging.
EDIT: Patrick, Sagat can play the lame game pretty well, it’s just really different from how Rose plays lame. Plus he’s not as bad as Rose is against Yun.
