Svensson: There are perfectly valid counter picks to Sentinel (which by themselves are valid teams even when not countering him).

Don’t think the counter-pick argument works all that well. I still don’t believe Sentinel is as bad as everyone has hyped him to be, but Sven telling people to “pick different characters” isn’t going to win the hearts of the people.
The whole idea of balance is that people can have at least two of their favorite characters without being doomed from the get go.

No kidding. One character should not be the basis for your entire team selection. That’s the point of having 36 characters

Sorry Sven, but that’s a garbage answer and doesn’t actually address the valid complaints about him. Way too high stamina and (chip) damage in XFC level 3. It’s way out of whack regardless of the character you choose.

Anyone who thinks Capcom will release a balance patch is delusional. Did they do anything about Sagat in SF4? No, they made everyone pay $40 for the ‘patch’. We’ll likely get a patch to fix the broken netcode, add replay and spectator functionality, and maybe fix a couple infinites. That’s all we’ll ever see for free.

Rey Jimenez: Actually, all of our western facing products do have a producer from Capcom U.S. working with our Japanese producers. While there was no U.S. producer on Marvel vs. Capcom 3, there was heavy input from Marvel and from Special Advisors here at Capcom U.S.

Svensson: There are occasional price promotions now and then (I think we’ve run two in the last year and a half or so on XBL since MvC2 was released) but there are no plans for a permanent price reduction on any of our digital titles. They tend to stay at the price they come out at with extremely rare exceptions.

I am so sick of freakin Sentinel. It’s like picking legendaries on Pokemon. Everytime I tell them to quit using sentinel “UMAD” and you know what, I am. I’m so sick of people picking Sent and gloating like if they won with a joke character. Sentinel is the pure opposite of Pheonix, hell if my team got wiped out by Pheonix I’d probably send the guy a message of how he had a good pehonix. I have 14 losses in ranked matches, 8 wins. I’ve fought 7 Sentinel teams, I beat one lost to all the other constant ones. Also, best Sentinel team, the one that made me so mad. Spam Heavy lazer thing, have Arthur dagger toss and Dr.Doom hidden missile. Trying to spam arrows as Taskmaster so I can fight Dr.Doom and Arthur but every time I did the Arrow super, hidden missile got me and knocked me out of it.
