The input system for mvc3 feels really weird. I’ve never gotten so many backwards DPs after inputting normal DPs in my life. Does anyone else have a lot of problems like this?

Yeah about the Marvel 3 tourney… I was sent to losers by Druseph’s Taskmaster which I’m cool with I didn’t know how to stop his swing pressure good shit dude, but I was knocked out by Dante and I was salty about that match.
Generally, I’d auto lose X-23 maybe do a bit of damage with Dante and then it would would be Sentinel in beefcake mode vs Dante’s team… and he’d barely win. I think that’s gay as fuck. I never thought I’d play a tourney match and think to myself I shouldn’t be getting this far, my opponent is obviously out playing me.
In conclusion: game’s gay.

I nearly made it to top 8 simply doing EM disrupter and airdashing to the other side of the screen. But then again it’s not my fault people just keep dashing into it. It’s not like these are unbeatable tactics. It’s just that people are so deadset on hitting buttons and trying to get off whatever combo they’ve been practicing that their too antsy to get in. Honestly if X-23 is just swining relentlessly on Sentinel knowing he has armor on his moves, then she deserves to die. You just can’t go head first recklessly into matches. All of the people I beat have no movement. And movement is a big big part of Marvel. All of the top 8 in Winter Brawl had superb movement. It’s one of those big things that need to be practiced. You can’t just dash in and start hitting buttons. People who did that in the tournament got beat bad. In a high damage game like this, you definitely don’t want to be hitting too many buttons and giving up hits. X-23 players are always whiffing cr.A’s, probably not the best thing to do against Sentinel.
But anyway, these scrub tactics aren't going to continue to work. I'm going to have to buy a new stick and learn some combos, and actually learn how to play the game. At high level MVC3 is way too fun to watch. I'm going to have to really work on my situations, combos, and movement.I didn’t think you deserved what was happening, like I should’ve been run over cause you were obviously the better player.

Sorry to hear you got searched like a common theif hayward. I would like to comment on the stream issue. The STREAM IS NOT A MUST!! This is a service that tournament organizers provide (OUTSIDE OF NORMAL COST) for the people that sat at home on there ASSSSSSSSSSSS! Anytime someone streams a tournament you should thank them from the bottom of your heart because most if not all tournaments don’t fit the streaming cost into the tournament entry fee’s! Imagine this if you will. No 1 is getting paid from these streams if your the organizer and people complain about the quality of the stream when they don’t know what type of connection that was available to them.
Like FR14 last year that hayward spoke about. I had a friend of mines that is an electrician to come and WIRE THE INTERNET in the ballroom just to fucking find out that the hotel hardline internet SUCKED ASS ALSO!!! Lucky we had a back up plan with the clear service, but I don’t think that would be an option inside the GWCC. People need to stop complaining about the streams and be glad the organizers are having a stream. Just 2 years ago if you didn’t goto the event you would never know how awesome the tournament scene truely is imo. With everyone streaming now people are getting lazy and spoiled with streams. Nobody that puts a stream on for their event tries to have a shitty stream. SHIT HAPPENS!!! The things hayward stated are true when there is a wifi connection that EVERYONE in the building has access to. :mad:
