Arcade Live what?
Can’t say I play MK3 much now but I still know a thing or two.
My mains were Ninja Smoke and Kabal but I enjoyed playing Smoke, Sector, and Cyrax.
Those Juggle mixups were mad hype to pull off!!! So much fun!!!
I only have ghetto training mode to go off of, but the only characters that felt natural to me were Sindel and Jade. I’d probably play them pretty much exclusively if there were any fuckers in Atlanta who played the game. Zac and Tyler play, or at least I think they do. I’ve seen a scene formed by three dudes. Me, Zac, and Tyler is three dudes. You could be a fourth dude.
So is there a G.Tech gathering tomorrow night in addition to Saturday’s whatever-fest? And what time is the thing on Saturday? I’d like to go to Homer but no ride. Also, watching Richard Nyugen get repeatedly robbed by Cl0ckw0rk’s Phoenix on last night’s WNF was disheartening.
cry more, clockwork got “robbed” a lot harder for 10 years by captain corridors and a certain dhc
yup we"ll still be having a gathering this week
Arcade Live has be estimated at only slightly better (3S) then GGPO, more competition on GGPO anyways… My 2 Cents

Didn’t know about this until just know, I’m thinking about trying since I can’t make it to B&B tonight. But on GGPO Iceman, it’s so laggy & I’ve played on a ton of good internet connections & providers so I’ll see about this.
Noel and Smoothviper made WSHH
Kind of odd how different East Coast and West Coast gaming cultures are. I was looking at Team Spooky Guard Crush and Levelup’s WNF last night. East Coast tournament look really chaotic and noisy. Seems like there is a lot of ruckus, and trash talk in the background.
On the West Coast, things seem more friendly. Everyone seems calm and easy going. You really don’t hear a lot of trash talk on the West Coast too much. And when people get salty, it’s usually short lived.
I guess I never noticed this too much in the past , but it’s always been that way. Back when I was a real Marvel head, I use to look at FFA Ranbats, and look at the old Jet PHi videos which were hosted at 8 On The Break. The commentary and atmopshere was different even then.
The two coast even have different styles. Can't put my finger on it, but the East Coast style seems more "raw" than West Coast. Like Demon Hyo's Magneto compared to a West Coat Magneto. On the East Coast they seem a lot more relentless to the point of being really lame. On the West Coast, their style seems more forgiving and flashy.
Damn everyone unfortunately called it,
So what now people?
That game does tend to raise sodium levels.
You need to post more big man, Shadow Ace and others have been trying to play people on your side of town but no one ever posts, also add me on 360 and PS3, I need more training partners
When PSN players actually learn to play smart (footsies:tup:), I’ll return:karate:
I do agree with a lot of this post - especially comparing brandon’s mag vs the west coast mags. You have to remember though, this guard crush was hosted in chinatownfair’s new location, an arcade which isn’t even officially opened yet. The space isn’t finalized or fully set up. mvc2 west coast did have a fair number of heavy shittalkers though…
Heavyweight and myself will be rolling through Homer on Saturday! Get hype!
Jacob and Coos…
Yeah, I hope to have it soon. It’ll be nice to not be alienated from almost everyone in GA online wise. Also, good shit making it out this Saturday:tup:
