360>ps3 the chimp install is very easy and allows for console plug and play. 360 pads are limited and the imp requires you to hold down the guide button.

I give up on trying to convince anyone that Bison is my main. All he does is lose nowadays when I pull him out.

Also got back on that Puzzle Quest 2 grind. And I remember why I stopped playing it. Freaking greendragon with about 1200 health that does too much damage. Yesterday, I got him down to 100 and I had the life lead, but he suddenly got a couple heroric efforts, destroyed my defense and beat me with his BS move. And yet I keep going back for more. =(

whichever you prefer, or natively own. they’re both easy to mod.
just keep in mind: the madcatz pcb on the 360 TE’s are flaky. RH will drop sometimes.
that being said, either way you’re ending up with a mad catz pcb.
you can also wire the imp to the RS switch instead. so there’s no button holding.
however, this may all change with the new version of the imp coming out. includes auto detection!
you can get the 360 pcb’s from gamestop for like 25 bucks, and there’s usually no shortage.
4716’s have been discontinued since 2009, and require trigger inversion. In order to do that you’ll need to install extra parts or use a Chimp SMD both of which will cost more. 4716’s aren’t sold at gamestops anymore, and is hard to find in the used section.
360 Fightpads are much easier to hack, but are either more expensive or you’ll need to find a used one to save money.

i work at gamestop. we still have them. both new and used.
trigger inversion takes 10 minutes, and costs $0.75 at Fry’s.
why would i use a chimpsmd if i’m going for 360 support?
but yes, fightpads are better because you can wire up the turbo function
