with marvel 3 basically here i would like to make something clear:
if you joined this site in '09 or '10 and have never fucking played marvel 2 then you are not allowed quote yipes at any time especially not at a tournament. and playing as ryu / hayato / jin once with your friends does not fucking count as playing marvel 2 so dont try to pull that shit with me, your mailbox is getting shitted when i hear “mag fucking neto” or “pringles” or “mahvel baybee” coming out your mouth… it might not happen that day but i am a patient man so you have been warned. and dont think i cant tell when you joined by just looking at you at the tournament because i can fucking tell.

ice, man lets play some vf5? i played some opponents over live the other day, it was ugly! they played like they have never stopped playing since release lol i think i took the first guy by surprise w/my sarah & was @ least winning rounds @ first… but that quickly changed

This is a rant, but not everyone has to feel me. The reason I think I’m going to hate MvC3 is because of casual **** that don’t understand the history that is Marvel. Now granted, I play a mediocre Team Scrub but I can respect, understand, and actually love the game that is “Marvel” despite the “lack” of character diversity for those who can’t see the game like those that do. So although my join date may say November 08’ that does not mean I have not been playing fighting games forever & true Marvel fans such as myself, yes I said it, think that this game will bring forth a new generation of ******* who don’t understand shit & since it was the case with SFIV, not most people, some were actually cool, I’ll just stick to what I like, that is all.

What’s with all this self imposed pre MvC3 bullshit about vets hating the new kids? Can’t you guys just be happy that Marvel will soon be back in the spotlight and that all these incoming first time Marvel players can revive the scene if you let them flourish?

If all the old heads want to shun the fresh blood or the new game none’s going to want to play it and our area will become weak. That’s what happened in some places for SF4 so can we just put aside all the bitching this time please?
