Yeah, what’s wrong with people? Talking about the game with the biggest numbers, the most money, and the most competition? People should never talk about SSFIV strategies. I mean a game with a large player base with tons of competition should never be subject to discussion on a website dedicated to games from that publisher, and people in the GA thread who go to tournaments for the game should never utter a word about it. Let’s talk about games that draw 8 people, usually round robin, and hard as hell to find competition for.
While I like MVC2, talking about it is a waste of time. I understand the game may be more fun than SSFIV. But no fighting game is fun if you’re playing it by yourself. For me a game becomes fun with more competition. If a game has no competition it ceases to be fun. I remember in 2004 playing CVS2 (before I really knew about the GA scene) and loving the game. I also remember playing it by myself for a really long time. I also remember hating MVC2 at the time, and giving it no play. But then I found out about the underground, and the only game they really had down there was MVC2. It had the most competition of any game down there. Somehow MVC2 became fun. If I want a game for it’s fun factor, then I wouldn’t be interested in fighting games. Games like God Of War III, Bayonetta, DMC4 are all fun games on it’s own, with no competitive value, and are single player. Great. When I want to enjoy a game by sheer fun factor, then I’ll play those.

Nah, I’m not scared of anyone because my trigger finger is on that 911 dial anytime someone wants to get crazy. I don’t fight I dial.
