That’s fucking tight trey. If I get another stick I might use that artwork, but I have one made for me now for my TE stick with my tag on it!
Thats cause you beat those buttons like they owe you money. If you want to “feather” the buttons as Valle called it, you need Sanwa/Seimitsu. Give your hrap some more time, and I’ll bet that you feel the buttons start to wear. Hori microswitches don’t last as long as Sanwas.
Also, have you tried opening up your Hrap to do any kind of work? I have an hrap3, and it takes like 10 minutes to undo all the crap just to access the innards, you have to remove the base w/ a screwdriver and then get a socket to remove the carriage bolts.
The TE, on the other hand, takes one 3mm hex bit, something that you can easily carry in your pocket if you wanted to have on-the-go access to your stick without carrying a lot of tools. It also takes about 2 minutes to unscrew the top panel and get access to everything.
Then there’s the setup of the guts in the TE stick… so much more robust than the Hrap.
I guess none of this inner-access matters if you don’t plan on doing any kind of modding, but that is where the TE truly outshines Hraps.
Honestly, who the fuck cares about modding it if it plays perfectly out of the box?
And as for the button wear, I’ve had my tekken stick for over a year and the buttons are the same as they were when I got it. So yeah…its perfect. I feel its a better stick out of the box than the TE stick. I see absolutely no reason to mod it.
why ask?!?! it took you over two months to pay me my money that i had to hawk you down for.
oh i was wondering who you was when you sent me that friend message. so your finally on here and ready to get better.lol so when you gonna get a stick? get off that pad
why?? is there something wrong with yours? well im pushing 2sticks out (the TE and hori ex2 stick)and maybe one more all able to play on the ps3 and 360. the hori ex2 will have sanwa parts. yes i will price gouge the hell out of those sticks.
it is a real good stick
were did you get that done at?
In the Art image section of srk.
The artwork iceman has is tight, but it won’t fit the joysticks I own.:wonder: The buttons are line up different on the TE stick and on my Mas sticks than the pic he displayed!
personally,
i dont like the “feel” of the buttons on the TE stick, they feel like “floaty” like there in mid air resting on nothing when i press them. i guess im so used to the hraps that i can tell differences like dat. really i want a 360 hrap(the one you got mike, dat stick IS excalibur). the TE stick buttons rest on the artwork which is made of a thin layer of this foamy shit in which is the cause of the floaty feeling i get. the hraps have that hard acrylic on top of their metal plates. when i press them i feel like a really pressed the button, it feels…firmer like a firmer press of the button. do the Hraps 360’s work on pc??
ps3 TE sticks don’t work on the pc.
All Xbox 360 controllers(including sticks) work on the PC. Hooray for Microsoft and their universal programming.
really!?!?! wow, i would have bet my life that they work on pc:lol: damn.
You sure about that Larry? I’m pretty sure you can make it work, Might have to get some drivers though
booo 360 is the devil.
Yea it does suck for me. Now I need a ps2 jap stick now!
I don’t know anything about that ray.
My 360 HRAP worked great on PC. No noticeable lag.
does anyone have a ps2/3 converter that i can use at ic4? ill pay if i have to.
Yes, the ps3 sticks do work on the pc with the correct drivers, which i thought that your pc automatically aqcuired when you plug in the stick…
SOLD!! as soon as there available, im copping one:tup:
as of now there are two ps3 TE sticks on ebay 1 for $110 and the other for $130, for those who are interested
Check this thread. Seems like some people are having issues getting it to work at first but they’re fixable.
No this isn’t correct. It does indeed install a driver to recognize it, however it’s mounted in device manager as a massive storage device.
However you can download a configuration script which will allow you to configure your controller and it will be recognized by Windows.
I don't remember the site, so let me search around for it, and I'll edit my post with the URL. However just type in "PS3 driver for Windows" and you should find what you are looking for.
thanks
i can help sir
i do and you can try it out at ic4. if you like it ill sell it to you for $25
wait why would you buy another one when you already have a working stick for the 360 your old hori which i modded. does it not work anymore or whats the deal?if you want something like that i can do it for you. why go and buy sticks when i build custom jobs but whatever like i told you before you bought the TE stick. i can mod your hori to play on the 360 but did you or neto listen no. you bought it and you didnt like it. you damn near beat it to death when i found it in the garbage bag. so you spent your money on it and then had me mod your hori. when you should of done that from the first place cause i was and still am trying to save you and ppl money. will you or anyone listen??
if you or anyone has something to say about my work well all i have to say is mas and madcatz make sticks that give out you quick. just how eddie got his mas and he has to keep messing with it so it wont blue screen and juan your TE stick giving out on you randomly. it wasnt a wire or a button the whole brand new stick just gave out one you. yes my stick in the past have given ppl problems but im there to try an fix them as soon as I CAN. i have only gotten better with my craft. so before anyone wants to go out and spend a whole bunch of loot on a stick remember i can do it for cheaper or equal evalue.
anyways…juan i might come through not sure yet.
MARTY your mom called in the morning looking for you. she left a message and she said i think call her or come home.
I never said it wasn’t. There just ain’t any other way to get Virtua Fighter comp for a poor schmuck like me.
cool.
