I’m actually more excited for Marvel vs. Capcom 2 than anything else. I love that game. I blow ass at it, but I love it.

OK fellas I’m here to get in on these tournaments and whatever else I can find time for in the Atlanta area.
I didn’t realize I missed a decent tourney a few ago which really sucks. Didn’t know they were so popular outside of EVO. I’m not really that great or anything anymore (because I was a strictly arcade player and the game has progressed so much since) but I’m definitely interested in getting some live PT with STHD and SFIV. While I own both, I don’t play SFIV yet because I’m honing my skills and reflexes at a game more similar to what I’m used to playing after a 10 year hiatus.
The competition has evolved so much after the emergence of consoles so I need the live experience and feedback that comes with it to improve my game where it needs to be. Look forward to playing and talking to all of the atlanta locals!
Are there any regular meeting spots to play SFIV and STHD live in atlanta?
Oh and I’m not completely happy with my SFIV TE stick either, so I’m also interested in trying out some other sticks/buttons to see if they’re more comfortable. Since I was an arcade player exclusively, I’m probably better with the Happ than the Sanwa although I’d like to see what my options are. I hear there’s a smoother Sanwa stick than what I have but I need advice.

Availability? Did I mention I just had a baby a month ago? My availability for the next few weeks is scarce but I will sign up for ICIV for SF4 and STHD.
Let me check with the gf to see what she’ll tolerate. I’m having a hard enough time getting her to not bitch about me playing for an HOUR a day although she’s started to lax on that a bit.
So the local gatherings are more informal than anything else? How much advance notice do you usually get?
