This was our first 2D fighting tournament at Waba’s Tournament Training Center, but definitely NOT the last. Feb. 28th, we continue the Street Fighter legacy with the addition of SF4 in our monthlies. Every 4th Saturday of every month, we will have SF4, Third Strike, and HDremix tournaments at Waba’s TTC. I wanna thank everybody who showed up and supported this tournament. You guys are beast in my book.

Yo! Big news for WABA Tournament Training Center. We are getting a NeoGeo Arcade Cabinet in about two weeks. Shipping from Japan, so it takes a little time with customs and all. I was told it will feature 32 SNK NeoGeo titles in the Cabinet. KOF, Metal Slug, Samurai Showdown, and all the other goodies. It does take quarters to play, but if you are beast, it only takes one quarter to leave a legacy on the machine.:wgrin:If this machine does well for us, we will bring in other Arcade Cabinets for the masses to enjoy and compete on. I will in the later months take request on what Arcade Cabinets to bring in. Let’s keep the gaming community growing. Good looking out Min. An arcade cabinet? That’s sweet. I’m not the biggest fan of SNK games, but I definitely like to mess around with them. If Garou is there, expect me to totally beast. As well as KOF2002 or Real Bout.
I definitely am an arcade player, and I excel on Cabinet. Horis and Mas sticks feel too awkard for me. I much prefer to play on P360s.
Seriously I would drop quarters in that machine especially if you will eventually get more cabs. Alpha 3 and 3s on P360s? OMG, it's 2000 all over again. The arcade version of 3s is where I definitely am better, can't adjust to the PS2 version, and definitely not the controller. Make it happen Min. Someone rep this guy.You say its coming from Japan and that is a Neo cab, is it an actual like Neo29 candy or similar model? If so, Kudos, you’ll have like the only public candy cab in GA.
So I don’t know who had the PS2 that CvS2 was being played on during Saturday’s early casuals, but that thing was wonky. My joystick wouldn’t work on it, but when I got home, it worked just fine again on my PS2. I’ve tried it on a friend’s too, and it had no problem. I was just about to gut the thing for parts but I gave it one more shot… and it was fine. :looney:
The F’ville GS said that you have to pre-order SF4 to enter the tourney, I didn’t see this listed anywhere online, but the manager wouldn’t back down on it. It works for me, I already had it pre-ordered from a different GS, but it still bugs me that they’re kind of “pushing” people to pre-order from them just to participate in the tourney…
The TvC event will actually be the final 8 players of a 64 man invitational tournament that we will run before hand. The TvC finals will run just like any other Evo finals.explain someone please
