I don’t have GGPO access. I do, however, have Xbox Live access, so I’ll be playing HD Remix on there. I’ll probably play as Chun-Li, just because I like that kind of character.

Chun’s incredibly hard to use effectively. Very irritating if you can get her down. She always have great footsies in most games she’s in. But her game is about 90% anticipating. But you may win a lot of matches with Chun, since people aren’t use to encountering decent Chun’s. But it’s a uphill battle against good shotos.
I don’t know much about HDRemix, I do know turbo pretty well (as well as HF).

Hmmm, looks like someone is begging for a money match.
It’s an uphill battle against anyone with a good projectile, plus Honda. That’s why I want to play with her. Like Viper, Chun-Li has a hard time with projectiles and breaking rushdown, although with Chun it’s a bit easier.
Just thought this was funny: Just got through playing an online ranked match against a Ken player. After I won I got only +1 BP

I am not sure about Viper, but I know Chun-Li doesn’t have any real issues with projectile users. Shotos and other projectiles users have to be careful of Chun, because she handles projectiles very well. She is also very hard to anti-air and zone. She has great air to air priority, her throw has sicks range, she has good pokes as well. And when she has meter, her super will go right throuh fireballs. Any character with a high jump like Chun-Li or Vega really has natural advantages of projectile users. If your executuion is really good, her spinning bird kick has invicibility frames to fireballs. chun-Li is very hard to keep out. And in terms of stopping rushdowns? Chun-Li not only stops most rushers with her pokes, but she can nearly rush for free.
Viper DP seems to handle projectiles well, at least from videos. I haven’t played a good C. Viper though.

Yeah, I would love to play you in A3. My friend who I use to play with no longer likes the game because he has a hard time fighting my Sim. HDRemix? don't like it that much to be honest. I'm having issues adjusting to some of the changes, and I really don't play the game outside of tournies. SFIV sound cool, really ready to put my Guile and Sim up against some good people.I never denied that. :lovin:

Talking about HDR or SFIV? Chun > Honda in this. Her mobility can really zone Honda out and multi-hit moves and quick 2 strings can break his defenses rather easily. Chun’s sweep beats out Honda jump ins and blocked headbutt gives free ultra. Futhermore, she can abuse his fat ass with cross ups all day.

Great job to everyone! I’m just really pissed at myself for doing so badly in SF4, because I only lost due to stupid execution errors on my part. I don’t have a stick to practice with, so I pretty much blow. If I dont have a stick by FR, I don’t know what I’m going to do.
To everyone in the area, I need to start practicing more. So like wanton, do you think whenever you’re free we could get together and play? Everyone is welcome at my house to play on a big flatscreen HD tv. Eddie, Joel, Mike, this means you.

Lobelia, despite alot of people not liking BranH, alot of the information he has posted up above is pretty well said and can actually be used, so take his words into consideration.

I read it and am studying match videos now. I can’t play at the moment because I ate too much at Waba and I’m sicker than hell because of it, but when I get better I can get my head back in the game.
