Im willing to go to eastpoint every weekend on fri or sat as long as people are there and we have more than one tv running SFIV. Wherever the scene is hot in Atl im willing to go and train. We need to surprise all the outsiders next year at finalround and show them that we can protect our house. We have people here with some serious potential, and now we must get serious and level up GA!

I take Street Fighter seriously. I am unfortuntely getting older and I don’t have an Xbox360 or PS3. I’m patiently awaiting the PC release of the game. Tell Big Boi, Jason L, or Big Boi I’m up for money matches.
Ryan aka Excitedbeast is garbage. Easily the dumbest person I’ve played in any game. Though I will say he is at least willing to go to tournaments unlike other people I use to play with at Underground. Though I’m shedding such scrubby aquaitences. I destroy them now I’m ready to take East Point’s money

@Shinblanka: I’d do my best to support any effort you had in an arcade. I didn’t even know you used to hold tournaments at North Point, that was my local arcade for the longest. (Though I was in middleschool so the attraction was as much DDR as it was fighting games).

I’m not quite sure what the next event I’ll be able to make it to will be. I have an exam next week and the week after, then ‘dead week’ is the time I need to cram for finals. Then finals may1st… That is the next weekend I’ll really be ‘free’ and then the week after that I’ll be heading back up north to Pennsylvania. Would like to make it out to one last gathering or event before I have to run back but oh well. Most of you guys will be here when I come back next Spring right? 
Also, tiger onslaught, if you want to get you SF4 fix, you said you’re in southern Atlanta right? If you’re anywhere close to Gatech campus you can swing by and we can get some games in. Send me a PM, I know times get tough when your SF4 gets cut off

Hey guys. I’ve posted this up before but I don’t really have a choice but to keep posting it up. I’m down here in Hinesville (actually Ft. Stewart) so I don’t really have a choice to continuously go to ATL to play anybody but is there anybody serious about the game that is an hour, even two, away that I can play and increase my gaming skills in this. I plan on taking the game as far as I possible can and I have it on good authority that I can get top tier with the right group of people and practice. If anybody can give me any ideas I would appreciate it. Another thing I need to point out is that Im actually from NY. My best friend is a pretty big Tekken player and I know that all these guys get together all the time to hang out after they come from Chinatown Fair. They go to each others houses spend nights and play, drink and whatever all night increasing their playing skills. Some people come from up state, Cali, wherever just to stay at someones house, play and get better. In order to get a community like that, you need to be able to and desire to go to that extent. If everyone keeps wanting convenience for themselves noone is ever gonna benefit, and we all might as well play online. Im moving out of the Barracks here soon into single soldier housing and Im always up for people to come stay at my crib. I don’t know if the people in ATL are willing to travel all that way to come spend a couple days playing the game, but once that happens (which should be next week sometime) anyone is welcome. Im tired of looking at other players and saying “Man that should be me.” And if that is how you feel then maybe you should do something about it.
yo does anybody know how to mod an arcade stick?
Me and Joel (madara itachi) are the main people who work on arcade sticks. What are you looking to do? It’d probably be best to get ahold of Joel since I’m so busy.

I’m using a dual pcb stick right now that is ps2 + 360 and then I use a converter to play on ps3. If you don’t want to use a converter def. hit up joel because I don’t have the time to dabble with ps3 boards 
or those chtulu boards…

I can’t find converters these days that are lagless. I just use a friend’s when I need to since I don’t have a ps3. Hit up joel and see what he can do for you.
Right now i’m thinking about getting mostly neocandies With a couple of usa showcase cab’s. It will most likely be a traditional style arcade with no consoles. I want to bring back that old school arcade scene to the ATL. Kinda like game warp or greens corner! The thing is finding cheap sf4 kits. They are still $6000 for 1 board and you need 2 boards to run one machine!!! I don’T know if that worth the cost and i’ll prolly never recover that cost since the home version is better. :sad: I’m doing some serious # crunching right now.
