WTF is with this community and complaining about $10. Instead of wasting your time on the board get a job and the 10 bucks won’t be so bad. First complaining that pownz will get some money when they offer a tv as a prize and now this.

For the last fucking time no one was complaining about pownz. Learn to identify trolls and insincere statements. People like to know where their money is going. They have a right just as any to decide if the cash they spend is going where they’d like it to. Don’t like it, don’t spend. Simple as that.

With the excess money, put it in pot of Official Tournaments. Sorry the side tournaments shouldn’t count, since mostly everybody will be there for one or two of the main games. As such, since entry fee for each game is different so will the distribution of the excess money(if any)

5 way split with variances (SF4 & KoF12 are doubled since fee is double anyways)

Only at a certain profit point will it be worthwhile to invest money in bonus pots.
I would like to put everyone minds at ease about how money is handled. It will be dealt with in accordance to how many people decide to show up. Bonus money is not guaranteed and it has been made clear that $10 is in place to protect our investment.
To the backers; lock it at $10 and tell everyone to STFU. You don’t need to discount shit all because people are fucking cheap. The point of the venue fee is to cover your ass, not to run a deficit while hoping to break exactly even. If people are honestly crying about $10 they’ve got their own set of problems. I hope G3 pulls in a solid number and has a great tournament. They’re always a fun time with lots of hype.

As someone who has spent a lot of time directing lately. This is the truth. You should always try to compromise with players, but NEVER stand for undercutting yourself or the rules you set. The most important thing is to stand by what you say. When you don’t do that, things happen (Learned this on Saturday actually).
