Unless I’m wrong, the drug one is the ONLY one where someone was confirmed to have died. The serpentor eps was pretty rough, but everyone who “died” in that one movie fell off some cliff or another. We all know how THAT works. I know that Cobra Commander got turned into a snake at one point, but not much else was said after he started throwing a hissing fit. 
Now I wanna look up all the old eps, ESPECIALLY the Serpentor stuff. TO THE SEARCH ENGINES!!!

I didn’t think that the version where he died was ever released. I thought it was changed last minute before release. Though I guess that could be what you meant.
I think a GI Joe movie based on the IDW comics would be awesome. I am enjoying them even more than the devils due run. Cobra civil war is hype.

It was the same version.
The only difference is that the lines were changed in the American version, and that one line at the end of the movie, where they get the call saying Duke’s gonna be alright, was added in.

This coupled with Channeling Gay-dom as his screen actor has me somewhat indifferent as to his breathing status in the new movie.
