Hey Kevin, yep your squared away with your registration - you gain access to everything except the fairground concerts ^^ - you can pick up your badge Thursday 4pm - all events begin Friday morning 10am and the convention events begin with opening ceremonies @ 5pm. This is done to make it easy for badge and registration and allows the main tournaments bulk to be done friday morning and let all of you guys be able to enjoy the entire expo. if you have any questions please let us know

we might be adding 16 Neo Geo AES’s to one of our freeplay rooms, I was considering doing old school tourneys, like samurai showdown (Spirits and Amakusa’s Revenge) as well as some older KOF and Fatal Fury Tourneys but I doubt the community at large will have sticks and that means all of our sticks are going to get pounded, so this is good for casual play but for tourney play, not sure but we’ll have quite a few of those there.
some of the newer items in the neo geo era we’ll have on DC’s like Garou: Mark of the Wolves etc.

Soul Calibur IV
New Update - I will be planning more closely with IdleMind from the 8wayrun community and one of the Soul Calibur Community leaders to have a solid focus on SCIV and prior incarnations - I will be in France this week for World Cup networking with all the european players to get their input as one of our goals is to become the Soul Calibur National - this is for all SC titles - we are considering working into our schedule a Top Tier Challenge and Semi-Pro challenge as we have a lot of international interest in this tournament. We will also be considering adding a team tournament.
Marvel V Capcom 2
One of the events we sponsor which is the Texas v Cali tournament coming next weekend we will be making some new announcements on what we are doing with Marvel - some MM’s that are in the works players coming out of retirement, and possible Low tier and team tournament aspects.

We are recruiting another team to focus their attention on this tournament at our event, we are working on buying 4 cabinets for this title as well as CvS2. While we are also looking for Alpha Cabinets, if anyone has lines to people looking to sell theirs let us know. we are always looking for good deals.

Well, I also have MOTW, SS2, RB2, KOF 98, and a few others in MVS format as well along with 2 1 slot mvs boards… so if you have an extra cab let me know… I’ll have a couple PS2 to neo converters that are supposed to be lag free by then, so the home system may still be an option.
also if MOTW isn’t on the neo then the import PS2 port is preferred.
Is it preferred on the PS2? I have been reading the DC version was frame accurate. I’m guessing it could be due to stick quality? Althought Green Goblins are phenomenal.

A group of friends and I are going to drive about 6-8 hours to attend, but the earliest we can get there is Friday morning. Will we still be able to pick up our badges Friday morning prior to 10 AM? If not, can someone pick up our badges for us Thursday night, or do we have to physically be present ourselves to pick them up?
