Wow the action I just don’t get how they top these movies time after time. Being a huge fan of this series over all these years this one was great from start to finish. I wanted a fast film after Tokyo drift and this one perfectly did it.
No spoilers but this was a great tribute to Paul Walker.
Gonna see it again over the weekend cause the action was top notch!!!
Supposed to go see this later with some friends, but I’m skeptical after watching F&F 6 which had way too much action and not enough of the driving. I still think Tokyo Drift was the series’ peak.
saw the movie awhile ago and it was frickin’ AWESOME. James Wan brought out some great, nuanced performances from the cast while still maintaining all of the high-adrenaline driving/action scenes that are hallmarks of the franchise.
I felt some scenes were kinda rushed, like the one with Lucas Black and Vin Diesel. Looking forward to seeing the next installment with his character, Sean Boswell, in focus again. All in all, a great send-off for Paul Walker and his character in the series.
Jason Statham was great as the big bad. So much ass-kickery and intensity in all of his scenes! Can’t wait for it to be out on bluray soon so i can keep re-watching it.
Just got back. Shit was dope. RIP Paul walker. They used like some uber high tech cgi for him in a few spots, but it was mostly paul walker in the flesh for the majority of the movie. Whatever tech they used at those times, which i think the average person will not catch, i gotta see that shit in video games soon, cause god damn. You can only really catch it by his small bodily movements, not by much else.
Anyways, its really weird how ominous the entire film is. Like, its almost prophetic in that bryan will not be around anymore, and this is his last run. Its like, super ominous. It ended on a fucking fantastic note, and kudos.
Jason statham fucking ripped up assholes in the movie, and is unkillable. lol. What a legacy of movies. I’m sure it will be back in a few years. Let it rest, but even if thats it, im satisfied. Shit was fun, and as a long standing fan, im happy.
If i wasnt so manly, id cry. Bye paul walker. That last scene, oh lawd. They did some movie magic with that, in using som f&f1 footage, but did it well.
Saw it again Yup if you are a fan of Fast and Furious dont think just go enjoy it!!! Fuck now Im about to be a turner head again love this fucking series of movies. Paul Walker its just so bittersweet fucking dope as movie. I come home and like every fast and furious movie on cable tv the feels are real!!!
I enjoyed it. I wished Statham had a real crew behind him though. I thought being the older brother he would’ve had some top tier League of Shadows organization lol.
I googled Paul Walker’s brother Caleb and he does make for a perfect body double, his resemblance is uncanny, even for a family member.
I just saw it.
Great action and stunts.
My only real nitpicks were too little of the Rock and the “jump out of car at last second” bit seemed to be overused.
As everybody has said, Paul/Brian montage was touching.
Go see it. Imo 5 is the best, then 6 and 7 tied.
6 was great because that was the only one where all of them were complete and working with each other. I remember marking out when the rock came in to help Vin Diesel on the plane, i was hoping for some homage to his wwe moves but it was still awesome for. They were all good.
