I put the tapes to rip and left them because ripping is a resource hog and I can’t run other apps while it’s going on outside of maybe MIRC.
The fact of the matter is that ripping and posting videos is not a priority by any means. It was a priority when we were running GTASF and the site got sacked for it. It was a priority when IoA was open and that site’s bandwidth go raped. When those sites were up, vids were done in a timely manner because I had a motivation to do so.
And before you site examples like T6, at least get your facts straight. I personally taped the T5 and MvC2 5 on 5’s. I didn’t tape singles because I was too busy running the tournament. I didn’t personally tape 3S and that tape disappeared. CvS2 5 on 5 was a disgrace and I haven’t watched it since. So if we don’t have team tourney footage and we don’t have singles footage how the fuck is anyone compiling a DVD?
maybe you should read what i’m saying instead? Someone asked for CvS2 rips from T7. I said something about that person not going to see it, cause you’re too lazy to bother to rip and post vids.

again, read. the bold was on YOU, not OWE. I feel that when you post that you’re going to do something with any kind of certainty, you owe people something. The fact that
A) the dvd wasn’t made even though you said you were going to make it
B) said nothing after the fact and try to brush it under the rug.
If you were to make a “offhand” remark, you don’t need icons. You could’ve just said “If I have time, i’ll burn each of the participants a copy of the DVD”, instead of “I’ll burn each of the participants a copy of the DVD”. See the different levels of certainty there?
I’m not being ignorant. People had interests in a T6 dvds, you said you were going to deliever. Ends up one way or another that nothing got taped (to who’s fault it is i’m not going to discuss). End of the day, You said you were going to give something, and nothing came out of it.
The whole point i’ve been trying to get at the whole time is your unwillingness to post vids online. There are plenty of venues for your to deliver content if you weren’t lazy/busy. If you had the time to watch the vids again, why didn’t you just rip it instead and post it on youtube or something?

i can understand being in his shoes right now and feeling shafted by the community. he not only didnt get to play cvs2 teams, but he also had his spot taken from the 5 on 5 team. i realize that some people think it was his spot to begin with, and others think he didnt have it at all in the first place; regardless, the facts stay the same.
