I recently came into possession of a 3S cabinet, and I really can’t hang onto it. I’d like it to go to a good home (or someone with very deep pockets) :wgrin:

It’s got brand new sticks/buttons. Comes with the original operator’s manual and GD-ROM. Full CPS-III system. Multi coin coin acceptor. Hell I’ll throw in tokens if you want. Ready to plug and play.

The cabinet itself is a convert from SFII: CE. So there’s some wear and tear and the usual dinks.

Im not even going to think about shipping this monster unless you give me good reason.

Pictures? Stick/Button Brand? Monitor size? Cab dimensions? I might be interested but I need a little more info. :slight_smile: Pictures would be very helpful as well.

The sticks are stock but brand new, and easily replaced. All the wires have QDs attached IIRC.

Buttons are soon to all be HAPP. Again, easily replaced.

Im out right now, but I’ll do my best to get dimensions and screen size for you. As soon as I get back. If I can get pics I will, but I just moved back in and this all depends on if I can unearth my digital camera from god knows which box.

EDIT: Screen Size is 27" and the Dimensions are H.78" W.32" D. 36"

i remember those cabinets

for those who care.

The control panel can be disassembled with a few screws and unchaining it inside. you can replace it with a more spread out layout so you arnt bumping elbows so easily.

The control panel CAN be unhooked and pulled out. The CPS-III system is actually inside it. Shodokan is absolutely right about that.

I’d love to have a 3S cab to join my Martial Masters cab but I don’t have enough money to throw up a real bid and I won’t waste your time trying to low-ball you. Good luck with the sale though! :tup:

Thought there was only one version of Third Strike?

The OM says “Street Fighter III 3rd Strike: Fight for the Future” It runs of the CPS-III system. It’s an actual arcade, not a conversion from a console.

Hope that answers your question. If it doesn’t, clairify a bit more and I’ll do what I can to answer it for you.

There are a couple ways to test:

  1. Choose Yang on 2P side and look at his Super Art selection. Look for Magnetic Storm.

  2. Do a Ken vs. Makoto match. Have Ken win the round with his neutral throw (knee bash). Game should reset.

If either of those scenarios occur, it’s the first revision, the one that has Urien’s unblockable and the most wanted version.
